Cieli infuocati e paesaggi dell’anima.

From April 6th to May 5th, 2013 the Museo della Pesca del Lago Trasimeno (Lake Trasimeno Fishing Museum), in San Feliciano, hamlet of Magione, will host the photo exhibition by Laura Fratini entitled Trasimeno. Rifessi / Segni / Colori (Trasimeno. Reflections / Signs / Colors)

The show contains shots of the Trasimeno photographed almost always in the evening, from sunlight to darkness as a self-reflection. The twilight as emotion, energy, intensity, nostalgia. Burning skies and landscapes of the soul. The artist “studies” and “research” the tracks, the signs, the dark shadows flickering on the water. Places repeated several times, observed, analyzed according to the quantity and quality of the light. Laura Fratini observes and records the slender reeds that are transformed into geometric elements, dots, lines. Then again the reflections, the backlight, the frozen surfaces, the sunsets and the color “lived” as a dynamic element. The artist defines in this way a very personal album consists of pictures but never descriptive “elements” resulting from careful thought.

After the inauguration of Saturday, April 6th, from 17:30 with a musical performance by the Doremilla Cultural Associations, where the students of the Silvia Moretti’s Course Piano will perform music by Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy and Kabalevsky, the exhibition will be open until April 30th, 2013, from Tuesday to Sunday, and from May 1st to 5th 2013, from Thursday to Sunday. Hours 10:00 – 12:30 & 15:00 – 18:00.
