Il Museo Archeologico di Amelia è uno dei principali musei del centro urbano, attualmente ospitato presso Palazzo Boccarini, conserva reperti archeologici romani e altomedievali, testimonianze archeologiche dell’antica città di Amelia.

Di particolare interesse  è la statua bronzea di Germanico, raffigurante il generale romano Nerone Claudio Druso, ospitata al primo piano del museo,trovata nel 1963 ad Amelia e tornata nella cittadina umbra dopo un lungo restauro; il museo conserva anche una piccola quadreria di opere di artisti locali tra cui una Pala dell’Agresti e una di Piermatteo D’Amelia.

Dal giovedì al martedì  10.00 – 13.00 / 15:30 – 18.00  (chiuso il mercoledì)

1 novembre – 31 dicembre
Sabato, domenica e festivi  10.00 – 13.00 / 15.30 – 17.30  (chiuso il 25 dicembre)
