From July 6th to 15th, 2012 si back the most important and best known festival in Umbria: Umbria Jazz. At the Santa Giuliana Arena and in other locations will perform Sting, Stefano Bollani, Sonny Rollins, Herbie Hancock, Erykah Badu, Wayne Shorter and many others.

May 27th, 2012 will be an unmissable day for the lovers of the "nectar of Bacchus": is 20 years old Cantine Aperte (Open Cellars), event that allows to visit the cellar members of Umbria Wine Tourism Movement.

At Spoleto (PG) is coming, from June 1st to 3rd, 2012, 2012 Vini nel Mondo (Wines in the World), 3 days (and a 'white night') dedicated to the encounter between the wine and typical excellences world and the public with cellars in display, tastings, seminars and shows.

Cascia (PG) is preparing to celebrate, as every year, his favorite daughter and Patron Saint, Rita, thanks to the 2012 Ritiane Celebrations and to the Feast of St. Rita of Cascia. From May 12th to 22nd, 2012.

From September 30th, 2011 kicks off from the Cucinelli Theatre of Solomeo, Corciano (PG), the 2011/2012 Theatre Season of the Teatro Stabile dell'Umbria. 14 theaters in the region involved, each with its interesting billboard.
