Orvieto will be the framework of the 17th edition of Umbria Jazz Winter; 5 days of music, culture and events linked to New Year's Eve 2009.

During the five days of the programme Orvieto will offer music at all hours of the day. The main events that characterise the festival are the New Year's Eve dinners which are followed by concerts and jam sessions and the traditional New Year's Day mass that takes place in the magnificent cathedral to the accompaniment of the gospel choir.
