Città di Castello (PG) è pronta a dedicare 3 giorni, dal 4 al 6 Novembre 2011, al prodotto più blasonato dei boschi dell’Alta Valle del Tevere: la trifola, il tartufo bianco. Grazie alla 32a edizione de “Il Tartufo Bianco” – Mostra Mercato Nazionale. La trifola sarà la regina della manifestazione, ma ci sarà ampio spazio anche agli altri frutti del bosco, alla chianina (vitellone bianco dell’Appennino Centrale), all’olio novello, al campionato regionale di carving (suggestive sculture di frutta e verdura per decorare cocktail ed arricchirne la degustazione), mostre, concorsi, master e molto altro ancora.

La manifestazione, che si snoderà attraverso 15 locations del centro storico, si dividerà in 4 temi principali:
– Laboratori (alcuni dedicati alle scuole, altri aperti alla partecipazione del pubblico. Prenotazione obbligatoria, numeri all’interno della brochure .pdf). Venerdì 4 Novembre 2011 dalle 10:00 alle ore 12:00, Sabato 5 e Domenica 6 10:00 – 14:00 e 15 – 19:30;
– Mostre e Mercati (shopping ed assaggi nelle piazze del centro storico di Città di Castello per scoprire sapori nuovi, ricordarne degli antichi e conoscere le ricette della tradizione). Venerdì 4 17:30 – 21:00, Sabato 5 e Domenica 6 Novembre 2011 9:00 – 21:00;
– Degustazioni (menù all’insegna dei prodotti del bosco e della sapienza gastronomica dell’Alto Tevere Umbro, attraverso combinazioni inedite e percorsi sensoriali). 4 Novembre 2011 18:30 – 21:00, 5 e 6 11:30 – 15:00 e 18:30 – 21:00;
– Fornelli in Piazza (lo spettacolo della cucina con dimostrazioni, “sfida ai fornelli” e degustazioni guidate). 4 Novembre 2011 dalle 18:00 alle ore 19:30, Sabato 5 e Domenica 6 Novembre 2011 dalle ore 10:00 alle ore 13:00 e dalle ore 14:30 alle ore 20:00.

L’inaugurazione della mostra, dopo l’anteprima con la conferenza “La dieta senza glutine”, Giovedì 3 Novembre 2011 dalle 15:00 presso il centro di formazione G.O. Bufalini, e l’avvio la mattina seguente dei vari Laboratori, avverrà da Piazza Matteotti alle ore 17:30 del 4 Novembre 2011 dove, per i 150 anni dell’Unità d’Italia i panificatori dell’Alta Valle del Tevere proporranno l’Arte Bianca.

Chiusura, come detto, il 6 Novembre 2011. Aprirà la giornata la gara di cani da tartufo e mostra mercato a cura dell’Associazione Tartufai Alta Valle del Tevere, dal Parco Alexander Langer, ore 8:00. Gli eventi conclusivi saranno Alla Scoperta Dell’Olio Umbro – degustazione guidata a cura dell’Associazione Strada dell’olio Extra Vergine di Oliva dop Umbria, Palazzo del Podestà, ore 18:00; la Presentazione del Libro “Eat Parade“, presso il laboratorio Tela Umbra ore 19:00; e l’esibizione dell’Academy Ballet, da Piazza Gabriotti, ore 19:00.
