Castiglione del Lago, Città della Pieve, Magione, Paciano, Panicale, Passignano sul Trasimeno e Tuoro sul Trasimeno, incantevoli borghi medioevali in provincia di Perugia che si affacciano sul Lago Trasimeno, si apprestano a ricevere, per la diciassettesima volta, le onde e le vibrazioni Blues e relative contaminazioni Soul, Afro, Black, Funk, Rhythm’n’Blues, Jazz, Folk e Rock grazie a Trasimeno Blues, dal 18 al 29 Luglio 2012.

Trasimeno Blues 2012 avrà 15 palcoscenici per circa 30 concerti, dal tramonto all’alba. Si partirà Mercoledì 18 Luglio 2012 al Parco Il Sodo di Tuoro con le note Chicago Blues di Demetria Taylor e Jimmy Burns. Ingresso gratuito: ad eccezione del concerto del cantautore Folk Alessandro Mannarino, Sabato 21 Luglio 2012 ore 21:30 alla Rocca medievale di Castiglione del Lago con “Supersantos Tour” (prevendite www.ticketitalia.com), e di alcuni al La Darsena Bar Caffè (sempre di Castiglione del Lago), tutti i concerti saranno ad ingresso libero.

E poi ancora ad esempio il 22 Luglio 2012 in Piazza Pian di Carpine a Magione concerto afro-blues con il superbo bluesman Eric Bibb accompagnato dal maliano Habib Koité.

Chiusura Sabato 28 e Domenica 29 Luglio 2012 a Città della Pieve. Sabato 28 Luglio a partire dalle ore 21:00 in Viale Icilio Vanni ad esibirsi sarà Leblanc, ovvero la grande rivelazione della black music contemporanea Ty Le Blanc con alcuni dei migliori musicisti del Blues Made in Italy. Domenica 29 Luglio 2012 sempre a partire dalle 21:00 e sempre in Viale Icilio Vanni sarà la volta del Rock Blues dei Royal Southern Brotherhood (Devon Allman, Mike Zito, Cyril Neville, Charlie Wooton e Yonrico Scott). Ad aprire quest’ultimo concerto sarà un altro gruppo dello stesso genere, il duo italiano Bud Spencer Blues Explosion.

Dicevamo di musica dal tramonto all’alba. Oltre al cartellone principale i concerti pomeridiani, dove verrà riservato grande spazio al meglio del Blues acustico italiano ed internazionale (P-Funking Band, G-Fast, Betta Blues Society, Veronica & The Red Wine Serenaders); gli appuntamenti della mezzanotte saranno tutti a ritmo di Funk, Rhythm’n’Blues, Nu-Blues, Electro, Afrobeat (Mississippi Big Beat, The Dynamics, Amanda & La Banda, Lil’Cora & The Soulful Gang, The Ukulele Lovers).
