Il 7 Ottobre 2012 parte dalla piazza di Scheggino alle ore 9:30 il VII° Tour della Vecchia Ferrovia Spoleto Norcia, terza ed ultima prova (le prime due si sono svolte in Trentino, Vecia Ferovia dela val de Fiemme, e Sicilia, Alcantara il Free Ride della Vecchia Ferrovia) del VII° Bike Tour delle Vecchie Ferrovie, il primo Circuito Nazionale su Tracciati di Ferrovie Dismesse d’Italia in mountain-bike.

Il tracciato del Tour della Vecchia Ferrovia Spoleto Norcia 2012 sarà leggermente diverso dai precedenti, visto che non si potrà raggiungere Borgo Cerreto a causa di due frane. Sarà comunque spettacolare e si snoderà per 43,5 km (con possibilità di farne uno più facile, solo tratto valle, da 23,5 km) ricalcando in gran parte, appunto, la dismessa ferrovia Spoleto-Norcia, tra viadotti e gallerie completamente buie (obbligatorio munirsi di torcia), una salita da 4,5 km con pendenza media del 10% e discese attraverso gallerie elicoidali. Oltre a Scheggino, il percorso attraverserà altri 3 Comuni della Valnerina, ossia Sant’Anatolia di Narco, Vallo di Nera e Cerreto di Spoleto.

Lungo il percorso ci saranno ristori, ambulanza con medico al seguito, personale della Protezione Civile, due pick-up che apriranno e chiuderanno il plotone, pronti ad intervenire. E visite guidate.

Tutti gli iscritti avranno poi l’ingresso gratuito all’Activo Park di Scheggino, con tanto di pasta party (per gli accompagnatori ingresso + pasta party € 9,00). Sempre all’Activo Park, luogo dove si svolgeranno le premiazioni (ad estrazione) con ricchi premi come soggiorni, cene e cesti enogastronomici, si potranno anche fare docce e lavare le mountain bike.

La gara sarà aperta a tutti, dai tesserati FCI o enti della consulta fino ai non tesserati. Per i minori di anni 14 è indispensabile presentare copia di un certificato medico valido. Ovviamente il casco sarà obbligatorio, così come rispettare il codice della strada.

La quota d’iscrizione è di € 18,00 il giorno della manifestazione (presso la piazza di Scheggino dalle 07:30 alle 9:00), oppure € 15,00 in preiscrizione. Oltre al piccolo sconto, con la preiscrizione sarà più facile aggiudicarsi lo zainetto tecnico, che sarà consegnato ai primi 300 iscritti.

The track of the 2012 Tour of the Spoleto Norcia Old Railway will be slightly different from the previous ones, since you can not reach Borgo Cerreto due to two landslides. It will still be spectacular in any case and will wind for 43.5 km (with the possibility of make an easy one of 23.5 km) tracing in large part, exactly, the disused Spoleto-Norcia railway, including dark viaducts and tunnels (a torch is unavoidable), a climb of 4.5 km with an average gradient of 10% and down through helical tunnels. In addition to Scheggino, the route crosses three other municipalities of Valnerina, that is Sant’Anatolia di Narco, Vallo di Nera and Cerreto di Spoleto.

Along the way there will be refreshments, ambulance with doctor, Protezione Civile’s personnel, two pick-ups that open and close the pack, ready to intervene. And guided tours.

All members will then have free entry at the Scheggino’s Activo Park, complete with a pasta party (for chaperones entry + pasta party € 9,00). Always at the Activo Park, where will take place the awards ceremony (for draw) with great prizes such as vacations, dinners and gourmet baskets, you can also take showers and wash the bikes.

The race is open to everyone, from FCI card-carrying to the non-members. For children under 14 is required a copy of a valid medical certificate. Of course the helmet will be mandatory, as well as comply with road traffic regulations.

The registration fee is € 18,00 on the day of the event (at the square of Scheggino from 07:30 to 9:00), or € 15,00 in pre-enrollment. In addition to the small discount, with the pre-enrollment will be easier to win the tehnical backpack, which will be delivered to the first 300 registered.
