Gli spazi del CAOS (Centro Arti Opificio SIRI), ed alcuni luoghi del centro in occasione del Terni Festival 2013, dal 19 al 29 Settembre torneranno ad ospitare il Festival Internazionale della Creazione Contemporanea di Terni, che quest’anno giunge alla sua 8a edizione.

Il proposito del Terni Festival 2013 è quello di organizzare  “Una festa per gli Dei”, ovvero proporre performances artistiche in grado di stimolare una riflessione, una discussione, di ‘segnare’ gli spettatori.

Il Terni Festival 2013 prenderà il via Giovedì 19 Settembre 2013 ore 18:00 con “Mangiare sandwich di realtà”, un progetto sui ‘political comics’ realizzato dal disegnatore e artista visivo Gianluca Costantini, curatore di Komikazen, festival internazionale del fumetto di realtà. Ed in totale saranno 11 giorni di spettacoli, installazioni, esperienze sensoriali, interventi urbani, incontri e momenti di festa, teatro, danza, arti visive, attività dedicate alla creatività di bambini ed adulti a cura di alcune tra le più interessanti realtà artistiche contemporanee, nazionali ed internazionali. 

Da non perdere la Kinkaleri, compagnia di danza contemporanea divenuta un cult negli anni Novanta, celebre per le sue piéce su temi politici, la relazione fra corpo, scena e parola, che metterà in scena “Pasto Pubblico”, una performance Telefonica (Sabato 21 Settembre e Domenica 22 ore 15:00 e 17:00)

Una delle assi portanti del Terni Festival 2013 sarà l’intreccio fra politica e lo spazio pubblico, l’importanza della dimensione comunitaria nelle città. Lo spettacolo che forse più di tutti riflette questa intenzionalità è ‘Agorafobia’, prodotto in collaborazione con l’Ambasciata d’Olanda e in programma in due piazze del centro (Venerdì 20 Settembre e Sabato 21 Settembre alle 18.45 rispettivamente in Piazza della Repubblica e Largo Villa Glori)  che ruoterà attorno ad un’homeless interpretato da Daria Deflorian, premio Ubu come migliore attrice per  ‘Reality’.

Tornano con “Missione Roosevelt”  i Tony Clifton Circus, duo romano di clown decisamente sui generis che si preparano a partire per la guerra a bordo di…una sedia a rotelle, metafora dello svantaggio attraverso il quale conquistare la città.

Importanti le collaborazioni con varie realtà culturali internazionali, nell’ambito di Finestate Festival, una rete che unisce 6 festival di arti performative con una comune sensibilità verso le arti contemporanee: B.motion/operaestate Bassano, Castel dei mondi Andria, Short theatre, Terni festival, Contemporanea festival Prato, Approdi Cagliari.

Si rinnoverà anche il rapporto con la Biennale dei giovani artisti del Mediterraneo, curatrice di un percorso installativo per le strade di Terni, e con l’Institut français e Nuovi mecenati nell’ambito del progetto France dance/transarte, che vedrà sul palco Julie Nioche, una coreografa nata come osteopata protagonista di un lavoro sul corpo e il sistema solare.

Ma il festival coinvolgerà anche associazioni e realtà locali, e si intersecherà con Ternion, la ‘notte bianca’ in programma dal 20 al 22 settembre con uno speciale appuntamento al Circolo del Drago, in un’ottica di riscoperta di un luogo che molti credono aperto solo in occasione di feste private.

The show that perhaps most of all reflects this intent is ‘Agoraphobia’ , produced in collaboration with the Netherlands Embassy and programmed in two squares of the city center ( Friday, September 20 and Saturday, September 21 at 6.45 pm in Piazza della Repubblica and Largo Villa Glori ) that revolve around a homeless starring by Daria Deflorian , Ubu award for best actress for ‘ Reality.

 

The Tony Clifton Circus, definitely particular italian couple of clowns  will come back with “Mission Roosevelt”, preparing to go to war aboard … a wheelchair, metaphor of disadvantage through which to conquer the city.

It is also renewed the relationship with the Biennale of Young Artists of the Mediterranean, curator of an installation the streets of Terni, and with the French Institut and New France patrons as part of the dance/Transarte, you will see on stage Julie Nioche, a choreographer born as the protagonist of an osteopath work on the body and the solar system.

But the festival will also involve associations and local realities, and intersect with Ternion, the ‘white night’ scheduled on September 20th to 22th with a special event at the Circle of the Dragon, with a view to the discovery of a place that many believe open only for private parties.
