Dal 28 al 30 Settembre 2012 torna per la 28ma volta la Scarpinata a Monte Rufeno. La manifestazione nazionale di podismo, trekking e camminate (senza disdegnare il buon mangiare, ndr) si snoderà nei boschi non solo dell’Umbria ma anche di Lazio e Toscana, visto che la Riserva Naturale di Monte Rufeno si trova proprio dove le tre regioni confinano. E 3 sono anche le cittadine interessate, soprannominate anche dai camminatori come il “Triangolo Benedetto d’Italia”: Allerona, in provincia di Terni ed a pochi km da Orvieto; Trevinano ed Acquapendente, entrambe in provincia di Viterbo.

La Scarpinata a Monte Rufeno 2012 scatterà venerdì 28 Settembre 2012 da Acquapendente con “La Via Francigena nella Città del Santo Sepolcro”. Alle ore 10:00 la Camminata Francigena riservata agli studenti, antipasto del percorso “senior” che partirà alle ore 16:00, dopo le operazioni di raduno ed iscrizione.

Sabato 29 Settembre 2012 si riparte da Allerona alle ore 10:00 per la “Scarpinata nei boschi della selva di Meana”, un anello di 12 km circa (ma anche possibilità di fare un percorso ridotto di 5 km) nel Parco di Villalba.  Alle 13:30 pranzo a cura della Pro Loco di Allerona, con tanto di bottiglia di vino in omaggio per tutti i partecipanti.

Domenica 30 Settembre 2012La Scarpinata”, partenza ore 9.30 da Trevinano e camminata a passo libero nei sentieri della Riserva Naturale Monte Rufeno. Due i percorsi a disposizione, uno da 11 km ed uno da 17. Ristori lungo il percorso e pasto all’arrivo. Brocchetta in ceramica per tutti i partecipanti.

At 13:30 lunch by the Pro Loco of Allerona, complete with a bottle of wine for all participants.
