Il 28 e 29 Aprile 2012 Trevi (PG), uno de I Borghi Più Belli d’Italia, ospiterà la 5a edizione di Pic&Nic a Trevi, manifestazione “slow” che coniuga palato, natura, cultura, arte, trekking, concerti, degustazioni e menu a km zero, tutto all’insegna dell’Olio Extravergine di Oliva Dop Umbria, di tutti gli altri prodotti tipici del territorio come vini Doc, Docg e formaggi, e dello stare all’aria aperta in compagnia, passeggiando tra gli ulivi ed ammirando stupendi paesaggi.

Novità principale di Pic&Nic a Trevi 2012 è il luogo: si torna sulla collina di ulivi di fronte a Trevi, attraversata da un sentiero di un acquedotto romano e piena di piccole abitazioni rurali. All’ingresso riceverete un bastone ed una sportina a quadrettoni bianca e rossa, ossia una borsa contenitore che si trasforma in tovaglia, utile per consumare i pasti disponibili presso le 3 aree ristoro presenti (dalle 13:00 alle 17:30). E, oltre a consumare “panini d’autore” preparati dallo chef Stefano Marconi, si potranno fare degustazioni guidate di Olio Extravergine di oliva Dop Umbria a cura dell’Associazione Strada dell’Olio Dop Umbria.

Ma la kermesse è molto di più del semplice picnic. Infatti, a partire dalle ore 9:00 di Sabato 28 Aprile 2012 in Piazza Garibaldi Farmer’s Market con esposizione e vendita di prodotti orticoli, biologici ed olio del territorio. Ed anche il Mercato dell’antiquariato e del riciclo. Alle 10:00 trekking naturalistici e lezioni di semina e zappatura a cura dell’Ass. Produttori di Sedano Nero di Trevi; alle ore 10:30 incontri Colidiretti dedicati alla Fattoria didattica per imparare a costruire gli spaventapasseri. Alle 11:00 visita guidata del borgo; alle ore 15:00 primo concerto, presso l’Anfiteatro della Collina. Alle ore 16:30 possibilità di fare due diverse passeggiate: una dedicata alla raccolta delle erbe aromatiche lungo la collina ed il Sentiero degli Ulivi; l’altra verso i luoghi del silenzio, cioè verso la Chiesa di Santa Caterina con Frate Nicola. L’altro concerto si terrà alle ore 18:00 presso il Ninfeo di Villa Fabri. Nella serata di sabato è previsto trekking sotto alle stelle con merenda al sacco fino al pozzo di mezzanotte.

Il programma di Domenica 29 Aprile 2012 è identico a quello del sabato, con piccolissime eccezioni. Alle 11:30 presso la corte di Villa Fabri spettacolo per bambini a cura di Novamont dal titolo “Volevo vivere in un mondo di plastica”. Alle ore 16.30 sul Sentiero degli Ulivi mini corso dimostrativo di nordic walking. Il trekking sotto le stelle non ci sarà.

At the entrance you will receive a stick and a red and white checkered ‘sportina‘, a bag container that becomes tablecloth, useful to have avaible meals at the 3 refreshment areas (from 13:00 to 17:30). And, in addition to consuming “author-sandwiches” prepared by Chef Stefano Marconi, you can do tastings of DOP Umbria Extra Virgin olive Oil by the Umbria DOP Oil Road Association.

But the event is much more than just picnics. At 11:00 a guided tour of the Borgo, at 15:00 the first concert at the Amphitheater of the Hill. At 16:30 possibility of two different walks: one dedicated to the collection of herbs along the hillside and the Path of Olives; the other towards the places of silence, that is towards the Church of Santa Caterina with friar Nicola.
