  • 28 mostre fotografiche;
  • 4 workshops a cura di Judy Weiser, Cristina Nunez, Sabine Korth, Ulla Halkola;
  • una lettura portfolio a cura di TerraProject;
  • una conferenza internazionale, dal titolo “Experiencing Photography: la fotografia come strumento per migliorare il benessere e ridurre l’esclusione sociale”;
  • eventi collaterali.

From November 10th to 18th, 2012, the Villa Fidelia of Spello will host the Perugia edition (the other was held in May in Piombino, ed) of the Social Photo Fest, the Festival of Social Photography.
And social not in the sense, unfortunately the most in vogue these days, of Social Network, but about photography as a medium of communication intended to tell, to denounce, to be “visual memory” and to promote, in fact, social changes and cohesion.

Given the premises, the 2012 Perugia Social Photo Fest will divide in two main branches: photography as denunciation and reflection; photography as therapy, often the “voice of the voiceless”. With:

  • 28 photographic exibitions;
  • 4 workshops by Judy Weiser, Cristina Nunez, Sabine Korth, Ulla Halkola;
  • 1 Portfolio review  by TerraProject;
  • 1 International conference “Experiencing Photography: using photos to improve well-being, reduce social exclusion, and provide healing”;
  • side events.
