Preci uno dei borghi più caratteristici della Valnerina, il 7 e l’8 luglio ospiterà l’edizione 2012 di “Pane, prosciutto e fantasia”, la manifestazione organizzata dal Comune di Preci con lo scopo di valorizzare e promuovere il prosciutto I.G.P. di Norcia, uno dei prodotti (insieme al tartufo) più famosi della zona.

La rassegna gastronomica che si svolge nel centro storico di Preci è incentrata sulla mostra-mercato dei prodotti tipici che si svolge nei vari stand allestiti per l’occasione; in ogni stand sarà possibile degustare i prodotti della tradizione gastronomica della Valnerina tra cui farro di Monteleone, lenticchie Castelluccio I.G.P., miele, formaggi, trota, zafferano, biscotti, vini, olio e tartufi (oltre al prosciutto, prodotto principe dell’evento).

Durante l’intero weekend, oltre alle degustazioni sarà possibile partecipare ad una serie di eventi collaterali come visite guidate (al Museo della Chirurgia di Preci e al Centro visite Antico Mulino), passeggiate a dorso d’asino, spettacoli itineranti e, per i più piccoli, “La fattoria dei bambini”, un laboratorio all’aperto per cimentarsi nei mestieri di una volta.
