Il 19 e 20 Novembre 2011 Magione (PG) ospiterà Olivagando 2011 – Festa dell’Olio e dei Sapori d’Autunno. Stand e banchi dei produttori tipici per le strade, i vicoli del centro storico e la restaurata Piazza Frà Giovanni da Pian del Carpine. Il re della festa sarà, ovviamente, l’olio nuovo. Ed i suoi “paggi” saranno i vini, le castagne, le noci, il tartufo e le sue salse, formaggi e salumi.

In più convegni, mini corsi di degustazione e la IIIa edizione Estemporanea di Pittura sul tema: “Magione in tricolore – omaggio al 150° dell’Unità d’Italia”. Il concorso di pittura estemporanea prevede l’esecuzione di un’opera pittorica (olio, tempera, acquerello, ecc. su tela od adeguato supporto) da realizzarsi durante Olivagando 2011, precisamente tra le ore 9 e le 17 di Sabato 19 Novembre 2011. Il comitato organizzatore timbrerà le tele tra le 8 e le 9 presso la sala Cinema Carpine di Piazza Matteotti. Gli elaborati dovranno essere consegnati tra le 16:30 e le 17:30, sempre alla sala Cinema Carpine. Le migliori 3 opere artistiche riceveranno dei “premi-acquisto”: alla migliore andranno € 500,00; alla seconda € 300,00; alla terza € 200,00.

Stands and stalls of typical producers in the streets, the alleys of the Old Town and in the restored Frà Giovanni da Pian del Carpini square. The King of the Festival will be, of course, the new olive oil. And its “footboys” are wines, chestnuts, walnuts, truffles and its sauces, cheeses and cold cuts.

En plus conferences, mini-tasting courses and the third edition of Estemporanea di Pittura (a Paint-Off) on the theme: “Magione in tricolore – omaggio al 150° dell’Unità d’Italia” (Magione in tricolour – homage at the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy) The painting competition provides impromptu execution of a painting (oil, tempera, watercolor, etc… On canvas or adequate support) to be carried out during 2011 Olivagando, specifically between the 9:00 and 17:00 hours of Saturday, November 19th2011. The organizing committee will stamp the canvas between 8:00 and 9:00 at the Carpine Cinema of Piazza Matteotti. The projects must be delivered between 16:30 and 17:30, again at Carpine Cinema. The best artwork will receive 3 “premi-acquisto” (“purchase-award”): the best will receive € 500,00; € 300,00 for the second; € 200,00 to the third.
