Nella suggestiva cornice del Castello di Alviano (TR) si potranno riscoprire ed assaporare i profumi, sapori e ricette della tradizione rurale locale grazie ad Olio e Farro 2011, il 26 e 27 Novembre 2011.
Olio e Farro 2011 sarà un vero e proprio Laboratorio del Gusto ad Alviano, dove i prodotti tipici locali come l’olio, il farro, il pane ed il vino “spadroneggeranno”. Ma oltre alle degustazioni spazio alla cultura ed all’arte con mostre, spettacoli folkloristici ed un concerto.

La kermesse partirà sabato 26 Novembre 2011 dalle ore 15:00 con l’esibizione degli alunni della Scuola Primaria di Alviano, con presentazione di racconti e canzoni tradizionali presso il Castello. Contestualmente, e fino alle 20:00, aprirà il Percorso Enogastronomico e Culturale nell’Antico Borgo con esposizioni e degustazioni di prodotti e piatti tipici del territorio.
Due le mostre: “Armonie di Luce“, al Castello di Alviano ed a cura di Ciro Schiaroli; la seconda “BRIGANTI IN MOSTRA – Dai Bamboccianti alla Domenica del Corriere” a cura di Mario Pennacchi. Chiusura di serata alle 21:00 presso la Chiesa Santa Maria Assunta con il “Concerto di Natale per canto e voce recitante“, dello Spazio Fabbrica di Lugnano in Teverina (TR).

Domenica 27 si riparte alle ore 11:00Santa Messa con Benedizione dell’Olio Nuovo con sfilata dei rioni in costume, e riapertura del Percorso Enogastronomico e Culturale (fino alle 19:30).
Dalle ore 16:00 partiranno 3 degustazioni consecutive: la prima dal titolo “Profumi e Sapori nell’Antico Borgo“; poi sarà la volta del vino con “Brindisi al Castello“, a cura dell’AIS (Associazione Italiana Sommelier; prenotazione obbligatoria 339.2919920 – 328.2374283); e per finire Degustazioni gratuite a cura del ristorante “Il Frantoio” presso il locale.
