MERCATINI DI NATALE

Alla Rocca Paolina di Perugia Natale alla Rocca 2012, seconda edizione per la mostra mercato delle produzioni artigianali di qualità, dei mestieri d’arte, della creatività, della sperimentazione e del riciclo. Tra le bancarelle potrete trovare quasi ogni tipo di oggetto, provenienti da tutta Italia. Dal 7 al 23 Dicembre 2012.
A Corciano, all’interno del contenitore “il Presepe, i Sapori, l’Arte”, dal 7 Dicembre 2012 fino al 6 Gennaio 2013 Mercatino del Presepe e del regalo d’arte dedicato alla migliore arte presepistica italiana, all’oggettistica artistica, al regalo d’arte umbra ed ai libri sul Natale, sul Presepe, sulle fiabe e leggende natalizie. Dalle 10:30 alle 13:00 e dalle 16:00 alle 19:30 nei giorni festivi e prefestivi (eccetto il 31 Dicembre); 18 Dicembre 16:00-19:30; 24 Dicembre 16:00-18:30; 25 Dicembre e 1° Gennaio 2013 16:30-19:30.
A Spoleto dal 15 al 26 Dicembre Tradizioni in Piazza: in Piazza Garibaldi ed in Piazza della Libertà  espositori di oggetti e prodotti per il Natale provenienti da tutta Italia e dai mercatini della tradizione europea, artigianato, enogastronomia, degustazioni, animazione e spettacoli.
I Mercatini di Natale di Gubbio si terranno dal 7 Dicembre al 6 Gennaio 2013, presso le piazze Bosone, Oderisi e San Giovanni. Inclusi nel programma di Gubbio Città del Natale 2012.
A Massa Martana dal 6 al 9 e dal 14 al 16 Dicembre 2012 il Mercatino Natalizio di Massa Martana 2012. Non soltanto bancarelle ma anche visite guidate, trekking, laboratori ed animazioni per bambini. Oltre ai prodotti tipici umbri, oggettistica e specialità culinarie dalla Svezia. Casette di legno aperte dalle 10:00 alle 20:00. Clicca qui per il programma completo.
Magie di Natale 2012-2013 è il nome del cartellone di eventi ad Otricoli, dall’8 Dicembre 2012 fino al 6 Gennaio 2013. I relativi mercatini saranno aperti dalle 14:30 alle 19:30 tutti i sabati, le domeniche, il 26 Dicembre ed il 1° Gennaio.
A Terni i tradizionali Mercatini di Natale si terranno tra Piazza del Popolo e Piazza dei Bambini e delle bambine, dal 24 Novembre al 6 Gennaio.
A Norcia le bancarelle natalizie saranno aperte dal 7 al 9, dal 14 al 22 e dal 24 al 26 Dicembre 2012.  Orari: il 7 Dicembre alle ore 16:00 inaugurazione; 8-9 Dicembre apertura dalle ore 10:00 alle ore 17:00; dal 14 al 22 Dicembre il Mercatino apre alle ore 10:00 e chiude alle ore 24:00; il 24 Dicembre dalle ore 10:00 alle ore 16:00. Nei giorni di Natale e Santo Stefano (25-26) dalle ore 10:00 alle ore 20:00.
 

PRESEPI

L’Umbria è piena di questi capolavori d’arte, frutto di impegno e dedizione. In questa sede ve ne citeremo alcuni.
Tra gli ARTISTICI menzioniamo il Presepe Storico Meccanizzato di Sante Cacchiata, presso la Chiesa di San Giovanni Battista di Magione. A Ferentillo il Presepe Artistico nella Chiesa di S. Maria. Dal 18 Dicembre al 31 Gennaio 2013, festivi 15:00-19:00 e feriali 16:00-18:00 (preferibile prenotazione). Torna a Massa Martana, per l’11ma volta, Presepi d’Italia, rassegna dei presepi di livello nazionale, tra le più importanti. Dal 24 Dicembre al 6 Gennaio, tutti i pomeriggi dalle 14:30 alle 19:30 e, nei gg festivi e pre-festivi, anche il mattino dalle 10:00 alle 12:30. Il Presepe nel Pozzo, presso il Pozzo della Cava di Orvieto. Dal 23 Dicembre al 13 Gennaio, 09:00-20:00. Alla Basilica Papale di Santa Maria degli Angeli in Porziuncola, Assisi, “Con gli occhi del corpo… – Il presepe di San Francesco alla Porziuncola”: tradizionale grande mostra internazionale di presepi, divisa nella mostra vera e propria (Santuario e Antico Chiostro del Convento), il presepe dell’artista Umberto Palumbo (Cappella Sant’Antonio – Basilica) ed una sezione dedicata al presepe nella tradizione friulana (Sala San Pio X – Antico Conventino). Inaugurazione alle ore 15:00 di Sabato 8 Dicembre, e la mostra sarà visitabile fino al 13 Gennaio 2013. A Cascia dall’8 Dicembre al 20 Gennaio IX Rassegna dei Presepi: presepi di tutti i tipi e dimensioni, che si snodano tra chiese, cantine e luoghi caratteristici del centro storico della città di Santa Rita.
Per i PRESEPI VIVENTI come non citare quello di Marcellano, Gualdo Cattaneo, che ha fatto meritare al piccolo borgo umbro il soprannome di “Betlemme Umbra”. 25, 26, 30 Dicembre e 01, 06 Gennaio, ore 15.00-19.00. Quello di Rasiglia, vicino Foligno, ambientato ad inizi ‘900 tra le sorgenti, 26 Dicembre e 06 Gennaio. Sempre vicino a Foligno e nelle stesse giornate, ma a Pale, 1a edizione del Presepe Vivente recitato dai Bambini nel paese Presepe (dalle 17:00 alle 19:00). Quello della fraz. Avendita di Cascia, dedicato all’inventore, San Francesco, il 23 Dicembre 2012 ore 17:00. E poi ancora, ad esempio, il Presepe Vivente della Cascata delle Marmore (25 e 26 dicembre e 1, 5, 6 gennaio ore 17.30) e quello nel Castello di Passignano sul Trasimeno.

Per tutto il mese di Dicembre e fino all’Epifania l’Umbria ospiterà note a tema natalizio. Ci soffermeremo su alcuni dei concerti di Natale:

  • a Narni il 25 Dicembre 2012 si esibirà la corale Gospel statunitense Tri State Mass Choir, composta da ben 34 elementi. Associazione NBF, a partire dalle ore 18:00, Cattedrale di San Giovenale;
  • a Guardea presso la Sala Consiliare, il 22 Dicembre dalle ore 17:30, “Racconti poetici e fantastici” con Paolo Francese al pianoforte;
  • Amelia, Cattedrale, 26 Dicembre 2012 ore 18:00, esibizione della Corale Amerina e dell’Orchestra “Ameria Umbra”.

Inoltre, a Gubbio dal 9 al 29 Dicembre 2012 il Concerto sotto l’Albero 2012. Dall’8 Dicembre 2012 al 1° Gennaio 2013 in vari borghi umbri l’Umbria Gospel Festival 2012-2013. Ad Orvieto raggiunge la 20ma edizione Umbria Jazz Winter, dal 28 Dicembre al 1° Gennaio. Il 4 e 5 Gennaio 2013 lo Young Jazz Countdown*4, Foligno.
 

ARTE E CULTURA

Fino al 6 Gennaio 2013 al Palazzo Trinci di Foligno la mostra “Dal visibile all’indicibile. Crocifissi ed esperienza mistica in Angela da Foligno“. Dedicata alla Beata Angela da Foligno, considerata la più grande mistica italiana. Orari di apertura: dalle 10:00 alle 13:00 e dalle 15:00 alle 19:00. Chiuso i lunedì non festivi, il 25 Dicembre 2012 ed il 1° Gennaio 2013.
Presso il Centro d’Arte Contemporanea “Palazzo Lucarini Contemporary” di Trevi, fino al 23 Febbraio 2012, doppia mostra personale di arte contemporanea dal titolo Arte Natura Spazio Urbano. Romano Bertuzzi propone, per la nuova piazza centrale del comune di Perino (PC), la ricostruzione in scala 1:1 di una stalla tradizionale. Silvia Donini, invece, documenta l’orto didattico creato – insieme ai bambini di una scuola elementare – all’interno delle mura di Ferrara. Dal giovedì alla domenica, dalle 15:30 alle 18:30; altri giorni su prenotazione.
 

INSTALLAZIONI, LUMINARIE

Il Natale sono anche le luci. Oltre alle vie illuminate di pressoché ogni borgo e cittadina umbra, 2 installazioni rubano certamente la scena, attive dall’Immacolata fino all’Epifania:

  • l’Albero di Natale di Gubbio, l’Albero di Natale più grande del mondo, dal 1991 nel Libro dei Guinness dei Primati come “The World’s Largest Christmas Tree” (elettronico, ndr);
  • la Stella di Miranda, Terni, considerata la stella cometa artificiale più grande del mondo. Posizionata sul colle del borgo medioevale di Miranda, illumina e domina tutta la conca ternana con i suoi 3 ettari di superficie, 105 metri di diametro ed una coda da 350 metri. La sagoma è formata da circa 100 lampade, con 9 km di cavi elettrici.

Umbria is full of these masterpieces of art, the result of hard work and dedication. In this house we will cite you a few.

The Presepe nel Pozzo (Crib in the Well) at the Pozzo della Cava of Orvieto. From December 23rd to January 13th, from 9:00 to 20:00. For the PRESEPI VIVENTI (LIVING CRIBS) as not to cite Marcellano, Gualdo Cattaneo, who has earned to the small Umbrian town the nickname of “Umbrian Bethlehem”. On December 25th, 26th, 30th and January 1st and 6th, 2013 15.00-19.00. The one of Rasiglia, near Foligno, set in the early ‘900 between the sources, December 26th and January 6th. Also near Foligno and in the same days, but in Pale, the first edition of the Presepe Vivente recitato dai Bambini nel paese Presepe (Living Nativity scene recited by the children in the Crib village). That of the Avendita hamlet of Cascia, dedicated to the inventor, San Francesco, December 23rd, 2012 at 17:00. And then, for example, the Presepe Vivente of the Marmore Falls (December 25th and 26th and January 1st, 5th and 6th at 17:30) and the one in the Castle of Passignano sul Trasimeno.

ARTE E CULTURA (ART & CULTURE)

Until January 6th, 2013 at the Palazzo Trinci of Foligno, the exhibition “Dal visibile all’indicibile. Crocifissi ed esperienza mistica in Angela da Foligno” (“From the visible to the unspeakable. Crucifixes and mystical experience in Angela of Foligno”). Dedicated to the Blessed Angela of Foligno, considered the greatest Italian mystic. Opening hours: from 10:00 to 13:00 and 15:00 to 19:00. Closed on work Mondays, December 25th, 2012 and January 1st, 2013.
At the “Palazzo Lucarini Contemporary” Center of Contemporary Art of Trevi, until February 23rd, 2012, double exhibition of contemporary art entitled Arte Natura Spazio Urbano (Art Nature Space Urban). Romano Bertuzzi proposes, for the new central square of the town of Perino, the 1:1 scale reconstruction of a traditional barn. Silvia Donini, however, documents the teaching garden created – with the children of a primary school – within the walls of Ferrara. From Thursday to Sunday, from 15:30 to 18:30; other days by appointment.

The Christmas are also the lights. In addition to the illuminated streets of almost every village and town in Umbria, 2 installations certainly steal the scene, active by the Immaculate until Epiphany:

  • the Albero di Natale di Gubbio, the biggest Christmas Tree in the world, from 1991 in the Guinness Book of World Records as “The World’s Largest Christmas Tree”;
  • the Stella di Miranda, Miranda Star, Terni, considered the world’s largest artificial Christmas star. Located on the hill of the medieval town of Miranda, lights and towers above the Terni hollow with its 3 hectares, 105 meters in diameter and a 350 meters tail. The profile is formed from about 100 lamps, with 9 km of electric cables.

Crucifixes and mystical experience in Angela of Foligno”). Dedicated to the Blessed Angela of Foligno, considered the greatest Italian mystic. Opening hours: from 10:00 to 13:00 and 15:00 to 19:00. At the “Palazzo Lucarini Contemporary” Center of Contemporary Art of Trevi, until February 23rd, 2012, double exhibition of contemporary art entitled Arte Natura Spazio Urbano (Art Nature Space Urban). Romano Bertuzzi proposes, for the new central square of the town of Perino, the 1:1 scale reconstruction of a traditional barn. Silvia Donini, however, documents the teaching garden created – with the children of a primary school – within the walls of Ferrara. In Terni the traditional Christmas markets will take place between Piazza del Popolo and Piazza dei Bambini e delle Bambine, from November 24th to January 6th.
