Ma il Natale è anche Presepi! Uno dei più suggestivi che ci permettiamo di suggerirvi per il vostro Natale 2013 in Umbria è il Presepe Vivente di Petrignano d’Assisi, che potrete ammirare il 25, 26,29 Dicembre e il primo, il 5 e il 6 Gennaio. Oltre cento figuranti danno vita a questo magico Presepe Vivente che vede ogni vicolo, ogni angolo del borgo medievale e le rive del fiume Chiascio avvolti da un’atmosfera magica con giochi di luci e ombre creati da rappresentazioni che ripropongono gli scorci di vita quotidiana e scene di attività artigianali di duemila anni fa. Nell’antico centro storico di Penna in Teverina, tra Orte e Amelia, si può ammirare tutto l’anno un Presepe veramente unico creato dall’elettricista Divo Pettorossi. Il Presepio animato è di tipo meccanico con circa 70 statue in movimento e 50 statuine ma la particolarità sono gli effetti luminosi che iniziano con una notte stellata, proseguono con il sorgere del sole, con la nebbia che si alza dal fiume, i fuochi che si accendono e le figure che si animano, fino al rosso del tramonto con le luci che si accendono nelle case. La magica atmosfera è resa ancor più suggestiva dai brani musicali che si ascoltano in sottofondo.

Annoverato nel guinness dei primati, l’Albero di Natale più Grande del Mondo di Gubbio, alto oltre 650 metri con con più di 250 punti luminosi di colore verde, 300 luci multicolore e sulla sommità una stella dalla superficie di 1.000 m² disegnata da 200 luminarie, è una vera e propria unicità da non perdere se passate il Natale 2013 in Umbria.
