Giunge all’ ottava edizione il festival di musica classica Music Fest Perugia 2013, dal 3 al 16 Agosto a Perugia e, per 2 appuntamenti, anche a Castiglione del Lago (PG) e Cortona (AR).

Oltre che nella durata, il Music Fest Perugia 2013 si arricchisce anche nelle location. Il cartellone approntato dal direttore artistico Ilana Vered, pianista di fama internazionale, e dal direttore esecutivo Peter Hermes, prevede 14 appuntamenti tra pianoforte, orchestra ed opera, a partire dalle ore 21:00 e distribuiti tra le location di eccezione del Teatro Pavone, la Sala dei Notari, la Basilica di San Pietro, il Teatro Morlacchi, il cortile del Palazzo della Provincia di Perugia, il Teatro della Rocca di Castiglione del Lago e il Teatro Signorelli di Cortona.

I protagonisti indiscussi di questa edizione di Music Fest Perugia 2013 sono tre giovanissimi pianisti: Ruisi Lao, che ama farsi chiamare “Roger”, di otto anni, Nathan Lee di undici anni e la dodicenne Umi Garrett. La direttrice artistica li ha definiti “piccoli musicisti prodigio che non solo suonano a un livello più elevato di quanto ci si aspetterebbe da bambini della loro età, ma capiscono la musica in modo profondo”.

Avendo calcato per la prima volta venerdì 19 luglio la scena del Teatro Morlacchi di Perugia con uno spettacolo, intitolato “Serata italiana”, dedicato ai virtuosi che hanno fatto grande il repertorio operistico e concertistico del bel paese ed essendosi esibiti anche al teatro Pavone, giovedì 25 e venerdì 26 luglio, si esibiranno ancora lunedì 5 e martedì 6 agosto in concerti dell’orchestra sinfonica con solisti e poi, domenica 11 agosto, alle 16, con la replica di “Rigoletto” di Giuseppe Verdi. La prima dell’opera, infatti, andrà in scena al teatro La rocca di Castiglione del lago, sabato 10 agosto. Nelle tre recite di Rigoletto si esibirà un nuovo tenore, definito da Peter Hermes  ‘il nuovo Pavarotti’, cioè Roberto Cresca, una voce da conoscere.

La suggestiva location del cortile della Provincia, a Perugia, ospiterà spettacoli ad ingresso gratuito come la maratona di pianoforte, con musiche di Bach, Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Schumman e Chopin, quella di pianoforte e violino e l’esibizione dell’orchestra sinfonica con solisti. Concerto, quest’ultimo, che è in programma anche alla Basilica di San Pietro venerdì 9 agosto. “È un’iniziativa molto bella – ha concluso il presidente Guasticchi -, che seguo da anni e che porta in Umbria centinaia di artisti da tutto il mondo. È un evento che si inserisce in un periodo in cui la città e tutto il territorio provinciale vivono poche iniziative e offre serate di grande pregio e un cartellone di qualità che farà sicuramente riscuotere agli organizzatori un grande successo”.

The artistic director defined them as “little prodigy musicians who not only play at a level higher than would be expected from children of their age, but they understand the music in a deep way.”

Having walked for the first time Friday, July 19th the stage of the Morlacchi Theatre with a show entitled “Italian night”, dedicated to the virtuous who have made the opera and concert repertoire of the beautiful country and having also performed at the Pavone Theatre, Thursday 25th and Friday, July 26th, concerts of the symphony orchestra with soloists will be performed again Monday 5th and Tuesday, August 6th and then, on Sunday August 11th, at 4 pm, with the replica of “Rigoletto” by Giuseppe Verdi. The premiere of the opera, in fact, will be staged at the Rocca Theater of Castiglione del Lago, Saturday 10th August. The three performances of Rigoletto will be performed by a new soprano, defined by Peter Hermes ‘new Pavarotti’,  Roberto Cresca, a voice to discover.
