Trevi, uno de I Borghi più belli d’Italia, famoso per il suo sedano nero, è anche il capofila della Strada dell’Olio Dop Umbria. Ed in concomitanza con il primo week end di Frantoi Aperti 2012 ospiterà la 6a edizione di Festivol: Trevi tra olio, arte, musica e papille!

Due giorni, 3 e 4 Novembre 2012, dedicati alla prima spremitura ed al nuovo olio extra vergine di oliva Dop Umbria con degustazioni, visite ai frantoi, bruschette in piazza. E poi tanti eventi collaterali come musica per le vie, mercatino delle pulci, trekking urbano e naturalistico, quest’ultimo con tanto di castagnata nel castagneto di Manciano, visite guidate, gare di cani da tartufo.

Ovviamente la “parte del leone” a Festivol 2012 spetterà alla Mostra Mercato, che si può dividere in 3 sezioni:

  1. a Villa Fabri, in entrambi i giorni dalle 10:00 alle 19:00, la Mostra Mercato di olio extravergine di oliva Dop Umbria delle colline di Trevi (Villa Fabri ospiterà anche le degustazioni, insieme ad accompagnamenti musicali, non solo dell’olio ma anche dei vini e Presìdi Slow Food umbri e delle regioni ospiti);
  2. a Piazza Mazzini, dalle 09:00 alle 19:00, Mercatino del Contadino, mostra, esposizione e vendita di prodotti del territorio;
  3. nel Loggiato di Piazza Mazzini, stesso orario, Mostra Mercato dei Presìdi Slow Food dell’Umbria e delle regioni ospiti.

A proposito dei Presìdi… Nei ristoranti aderenti di Trevi (ore 13:00 e 20:30) potrete trovare i “Ristori dei Presìdi”, menu e variazioni gastronomiche particolarissime a base dei Presìdi Slow Food presenti. New entry di questa edizione: la Liguria.

And many side events such as music in the streets, flea market, urban and naturalistic trekking, the latter with a “castagnata”  (“chestnut hunting”) in the Manciano chestnut grove, guided tours, truffle dogs races.

Obviously the “lion’s share” at 2012 Festivol it will be up for the Market-Exhibition, which can be divided into 3 sections:

  1. at Villa Fabri, on both days from 10:00 to 19:00, the Market-Exhibition of the Umbria DOP extra virgin olive oil of the Trevi Hills (Villa Fabri also host tastings, along with musical accompaniment, not only oil but also Umbrian and guest regions wines and Presìdi Slow Food);
  2. at Piazza Mazzini, from 09:00 to 19:00, Farmer’s Market, show, exhibition and sale of local products;
  3. in the Loggiato of Piazza Mazzini, same time, Market-Exhibition of the Presìdi Slow Food of the Umbria and guest regions.

About the Presìdi… In the participating restaurants of Trevi (13:00 and 20:30) you will find the “Ristori dei Presìdi”, menus and very special gastronomic variations in the basis of the Presìdi Slow Food present. New entry in this edition: Liguria.
