Il Festival ha rappresentato in questi anni un’occasione unica per parlare di giornalismo, di giornalisti e del futuro di questo mestiere. Il Festival Internazionale del Giornalismo di Perugia è diventato uno dei più importanti media event a livello europeo: nel 2014 si potrà partecipare a più di 200 eventi e workshop formativi, il tutto gratuitamente!

Come sottolineato dalla fondatrice e organizzatrice Arianna Ciccone, l’ottava edizione dell’International Journalism Festival è stata resa possibile dal crowdfunding – che grazie al contributo di quasi 750 soggetti ha raccolto circa 115mila euro – e dal ruolo cruciale dei social, sia nel crowdfunding che nella realizzazione e creazione dello stesso Festival, che propone anche quest’anno un programma ricco di appuntamenti con in più la possibilità di creare un programma personalizzato e ad hoc.
