Il tema del Festival è “VIVA LA CULTURA!” con un programma dedicato alla Cultura “come Bene Comune e casa comune, come gioia e festa, come diritto e progetto di felicità, come opportunità per una generazione di nuovi talenti”.

Nel corso del 2013 l’Italia ha presentato le candidature di varie città, tra cui Perugia, per diventare Capitale Europea della Cultura (nel 2019). L’obbligo a pensare il futuro, il carattere nazionale di tale impresa, tutto il movimento di persone e di idee per il futuro di questo paese è ciò che il Festival vuole raccontare. Il Festival Immaginario 2013 si apre all’insegna dell’ecosostenibilità grazie al progetto  il Bosco IMMaginario che consisterà nel piantare dei giovani pioppi cipressini un’area presso il Percorso Verde. Ogni albero sarà adottato e dedicato ad un ospite, al mondo della Cultura e dell’infanzia e ai bambini affetti da Sma (Atrofia Muscolare Spinale).

L’anteprima di Festival IMMaginario è dedicata alla musica, con il concerto del Jim Blake Trio lunedì 18 alle ore 21.00 presso l’oratorio Santa Cecilia, per partire con un programma ricchissimo di appuntamenti. Per il tema teatro segnaliamo Johan Padan e la descoverta de le Americhe di Dario Fo in Collaborazione con Libera Università di Alcatraz mercoledì 20 alle 16.00 al Centro camerale “G. Alessi”; qui sarà possibile assistere a un altro incontro con Fo dal titolo “Caravaggio al tempo di Caravaggio” giovedì 21 alle 16.00. Il terzo incontro con il Premio Nobel, un vero e proprio omaggio al pittore Giotto, si terrà il venerdì 22 alle 16.00 presso il teatro Morlacchi.

Molti gli appuntamenti dedicati a giornalisti e scrittori.  Segnaliamo quello col giornalista Gian Antonio Stella che verterà intorno ai temi cultura, etica e legalità (giovedì 21, ore 18.oo presso Sala dei Notari); l’incontro con il celebre scrittore (giornalista, poesta, regista…) Stefano Benni che si racconterà per il pubblico del festival (venerdì 22 ore 17.30, Sala dei Notari); il doppio appuntamento con Federico Taddia, giornalista, autore e conduttore specializzato nella divulgazione scientifica che dedicherà un omaggio a Margherita Hack, la celebre astrofisica recentemente scomparsa con cui ha collaborato in più occasioni e a seguire racconterà la sua lunga esperienza nel campo della divulgazione scientifica per ragazzi portando gli esempi di Teste Toste e Big Bang (domenica 24 ore 15.30 presso Centro camerale “G. Ampio spazio per il cinema. E’ previsto un incontro con Pippo Delbono, autore teatrale “in prestito” al cinema di cui verrà proiettato Sangue, un film che ha fatto discutere critica e pubblico (domenica 24 ore 18.00 presso sala dei Notari); Daniele Luchetti presenterà al festival Anni felici, affresco intimo e sincero degli anni Settanta (giovedì 21 alle ore 21.00 presso il Teatro Morlacchi); Alessandro Di Robilant e l’attore protagonista Carlo Ferreri presenteranno in anteprima nazionale Mauro c’ha da fare, commedia che affronta il tema, quanto mai contemporaneo, della disoccupazione giovanile.

Sabato 23 alle 18 presso il Teatro Morlacchi Immaginario Festival 2013 vuole rendere omaggio alla Rai incontrando alcuni dei suoi protagonisti più importanti. Pippo BaudoRenzo ArboreCarlo Conti, Virman Cusenza e Bruno Voglino saranno intervistati e moderati da Marco Molendini.

The preview of 2013 Festival Immaginario is dedicated to music, with a concert by Jim Blake Trio on Monday 18 at 9 pm, to start with a rich program of events . Dario Fowill perform on Wednesday 20 at 4 pm at Centro camerale “G. Alessi”,  Thursday 21 at 4 pm with a meeting dedicated to Caravaggio and a tribute to the painter Giotto ( Friday 22, 4 pm at Teatro Morlacchi).
