Presentata con grande successo il 24 Gennaio presso la Sala della Stampa Estera di Via dell’Umiltà a Roma, la seconda edizione del Festival del Cinema Città di Spello, Rassegna-Concorso “Le Professioni del Cinema” non si svolgerà più soltanto a Spello, tra Villa Fidelia, il Teatro Subasio, la Sala Polivalente Ca’ Rapillo e la Sala dell’Editto del Comune, ma anche a Monte Castello di Vibio ed il Teatro della Concordia, Marsciano ed il cinema Concordia, Torgiano e la Sala S. Antonio. Dal 27 Febbraio al 3 Marzo 2013.

Il Festival del Cinema Città di Spello, riservato a pellicole nostrane spesso poco conosciute e celebrate, si propone di premiare, valorizzare ed avvicinare ai giovani tutte quelle figure professionali “dietro le quinte” del mondo del cinema come sceneggiatori, direttori di fotografia, direttori di scenografia, costumisti, make up artist, fonici, montatori e compositori di colonne sonore. Coniugando promozione del territorio, arte, cultura ed enogastronomia.

Primo appuntamento del Festival del Cinema Città di Spello 2013 alle 16:30 del 27 Febbraio 2013, presso la Villa Fidelia della Splendidissima Colonia Julia (Spello, ndr), con l’inaugurazione della mostra, introdotta da una conferenza, Antonioni Was Here 1979: l’esperienza di “Cinema Movimento Colore” a Villa Fidelia.
E ci saranno 2 ulteriori esposizioni, sempre a Villa Fidelia. Dal 28 Febbraio al 3 Marzo 2013, 09:00 – 13:00 e 15:00 – 18:00, mostra Effetti Speciali, con sezione omaggio al Maestro, scomparso nel 2010, Carlo Rambaldi. Stessi giorni ed orari, ma a La Limonaia della Villa, mostra delle opere in concorso degli Istituti Superiori umbri: contest diviso in 3 sezioni (Regia, Scenografia e Costumi cinematografici), rivolto agli studenti degli ultimi due anni degli Istituti Superiori della Provincia di Perugia. I tre vincitori saranno ospiti degli studi di Cinecittà.

Prima proiezione il 28 Febbraio 2013 a partire dalle ore 11:00 presso il Teatro Subasio di Spello con il documentario, fuori concorso, Lipari. A seguire, mezz’ora dopo circa, Itaker (regia di Toni Trupia), il primo film dei 10 in gara.
Gli altri 9 saranno: 

  • Bella Mariposas (regia di Salvatore Mereu);
  • Gli equilibristi (regia di Ivano De Matteo);
  • Il rosso e il blu (Giuseppe Piccioni);
  • Isole (Stefano Chiantini);
  • L’amore è imperfetto (Francesca Muci);
  • L’innnocenza di Clara (Tony D’Angelo);
  • Padroni di casa (Edoardo Gabriellini);
  • Qualche nuvola (Saverio Di Biagio);
  • Tutti i santi giorni (Paolo Virzì).

Inoltre, venerdì 1° Marzo 2013 Special Event. Dalle 22:00 la struttura polivalente Ca’ Rapillo di Spello ospiterà “Rocco Papaleo in concerto“. Il poliedrico artista, accompagnato dalla sua band, omaggerà con uno spettacolo musicale il Festival del Cinema di Spello. Ingresso gratuito.
