Per la 56esima edizione del Festival dei 2Mondi, vera e propria celebrazione dell’arte in tutte le sue forme, Spoleto sarà felice di ospitare sui propri palcoscenici alcuni tra i più famosi artisti internazionali. Nel corso delle 55 edizioni passate la suggestiva Piazza del Duomo della cittadina umbra ha visto il susseguirsi di artisti del calibro di Rudolf Nurejev, Carla Fracci, Luchino Visconti, Ezra Pound, Luciano Pavarotti, Roman Polanski e Vittorio Gassman, solo per citarne alcuni. Il Programma di Spoleto56 si articola su 6 macro aree: Opera; Musica; Teatro; Danza; Arte; Eventi.

Per la sezione Opera, il 29 Giugno aprirà le danze Il Matrimonio Segreto a cura dell’Orchestra del Teatro Petruzzelli di Bari diretta da Ivor Bolton per la regia e scenografia di Quirino Conti. Dall’11 al 13 Luglio andrà in scena Croquefer & Tulipatan, opera minore di Jacques Offenbach riscoperta dalla brillante compagnia francese Les Brigands.

Dal 28 al 30 Giugno The Piano Upstairs di John Weidman, tratto da un´idea di Alessandra Ferri, aprirà la sezione Danza. Alessandra Ferri e Boyd Gaines vengono diretti dal Direttore Artistico del Festival Giorgio Ferrara. Da non perdere il Mark Morris Dance Group di Seattle che si esibirà dal 5 al 7 Luglio e il collettivo artistico L.A. Dance Project fondato e diretto da Benjamin Millepied (12-13 Luglio).

La sezione Musica, quest’anno più ricca che mai, si apre il 29 Giugno con l’Orchestra Fondazione Carlo Felice, diretta da Alvise Casellati, seguiti dalla rassegna organistica coordinata dal Maestro Paolo Sebastiani. Il giorno seguente sarà il turno dell’Orchestra del Conservatorio Santa Cecilia che eseguirà musiche di Verdi e Britten sotto la direzione di Silvia Massarelli, mentre dal 2 al 12 Luglio vedremo esibirsi solisti ed ensemble del Conservatorio “Francesco Morlacchi” di Perugia che proporranno repertori musicali di ogni tempo e genere in diversi luoghi di Spoleto. Le ore 12.00 a Spoleto56 significano una sola cosa: concerti di mezzogiorno; la sera per 10 giorni i Concerti al Chiostro verranno performati dai musicisti Matthew Aucoin, Keir GoGwilt e Paulo Szot. Il Teatro, uno dei protagonisti indiscussi del Festival dei 2Mondi, quest’anno apre i battenti il 28 Giugno con le performance e i workshop a cura dell’European Young Theatre, attori e registi emergenti ospiti dell’Accademia Nazionale d’Arte Drammatica “Silvio d’Amico”, che si esibiranno in diverse fasce orarie per ben 16 giorni. Dieci giorni per il Decalogo, dal 29 al 13 Luglio, progetto di allestimento teatrale che si ispira all’opera cinematografica del regista polacco Krzysztof Kieslowski; una sola data, 29 Giugno, per Green Porno, prodotto e interpretato da Isabella Rossellini. Segnaliamo ancora Dopo il Silenzio, interessante avventura teatrale che vede la collaborazione tra Pietro Grasso e Francesco Niccolini, Une Odyssée, ideato, adattato e diretto da Irina Brook, particolarmente consigliato ai ragazzi e alle famiglie, Il Ritorno a Casa di Harold Pinter per la regia di Peter Stein e Old Woman, ultimo spettacolo del maestro del teatro d’avanguardia Robert Wilson.

Spazio anche all’Arte con le 6 esposizioni di Palazzo Collicola a cura di Gianluca Marziali e Sconfinamenti, un progetto di Change Performing Arts a cura di Achille Bonito Oliva, raccolta di opere che “sconfinano” dall’arte figurativa al cinema passando per teatro, letteratura, fotografia etc.

Evento speciale cinema della 56° edizione del Festival dei 2Mondi, il Film Festival Senza Frontiere si svolgerà presso la Sala Frau dal 5 al 7 Luglio per la sua sesta edizione. Un’iniziativa interessante è certamente il concorso Socially Correct 2013 per lo sviluppo di una campagna di comunicazione sul tema donazione e trapianto di organi, tessuti e cellule, cui possono partecipare studenti e laureati del settore comunicazione.

Non dimentichiamo l’appuntamento con Istinto di conversazione, conversazioni generazionali condotte da Oliviero Beha per tutta la durata del Festival ogni sabato alle ore 18.30 e ogni domenica alle 11.00. Tra gli ospiti l’architetto Massimiliano Fuksas, la scrittrice Barbara Alberti, l’attrice Laura Morante, lo psicologo Paolo Crepet e i relativi figli/e. Il 6 Luglio avrà luogo la seconda edizione della rassegna Arte e Psicanalisi, tema che sarà oggetto della quarta edizione della rassegna Cinema e Psicanalisi che vedrà protagonisti Pierpaolo Pasolini e John Houston, per una riflessione sul “mito, sogno dell’umanità”.
