Da segnalare l’ormai consolidato Sagrantino Sotto Le Stelle: la notte di San Lorenzo, 10 Agosto 2013, degustazioni di Montefalco Rosso e Sagrantino di Montefalco D.O.C.G. Con l’aiuto di sommelier e musica live di sottofondo. A chiudere la kermesse di Montefalco La Corsa dei Bovi per aggiudicarsi il Palio del Toro.

Palio dei Terzieri 2013 di Città della Pieve, dal 12 al 25 Agosto 2013. Proprio a Ferragosto avverrà il Lancio della Sfida, mentre il 25 Corteo Storico e la gara del palio chiamata Caccia del Toro (sfida di tiro con l’arco). Per tutta la durata della manifestazione saranno attive le Taverne dei Terzieri.
A Cascia il 15 e 16 Agosto è tempo della Festa della Birra Città di Cascia 2013, 4a edizione, con stands, giochi per bambini, musica live e discoteca all’aperto.
Una buona occasione per visitare lo splendido borgo di Corciano, alle porte di Perugia è il Corciano Festival 2013, dal 3 al 18 Agosto: musica, spettacoli, teatro, poesia, rievocazioni medievali e taverne. 
Rievocazione storico-religiosa molto sentita è quella che inizia l’11 di Agosto 2013 a Montone, ossia la Donazione della Santa Spina 2013. Anche qui spettacoli teatrali, giochi ed arti e mestieri medievali, con le immancabili taverne. Chiusura il 18 con il Gran Corteo Storico della Donazione della Santa Spina, spina della Corona di Gesù. Da ricordare come la “Donazione della Santa Spina” abbia ottenuto il patrocinio della “Commissione Nazionale Italiana per l’UNESCO”.
Ad Orvieto invece parte il 12 Agosto Cantine e Chef alla Ribalta 2013: presso Il Palazzo del Gusto (Ex convento S. Giovanni) ogni settimana, fino all’8 Settembre 2013, degustazioni guidate di diverse aziende vinicole umbre. Ed ogni venerdì sera, a partire dalle 20:30 sulla Terrazza de Il Palazzo del Gusto, uno dei migliori chef dei ristoranti del territorio umbro si incontrerà con la cantina alla ribalta.

ARTE, CULTURA E STORIA

L’Umbria traspira arte, cultura e storia da tutti i pori. Un vero e proprio museo a cielo aperto. Ma ci saranno anche 2 mostre “al chiuso” degne di essere visitate. La prima, che aprirà il 10 Agosto e si protrarrà fino al 6 Gennaio 2014 ad Assisi presso il Palazzo Monte Frumentario, vedrà protagonista il famosissimo scultore Antonio Canova, uno dei più grandi scultori e pittori italiani, ritenuto il massimo esponente del Neoclassicismo.
Sempre ad Assisi, c’è tempo fino al 18 Agosto per la mostra Mostra ‘Dalla Parola, l’Immagine. L’Arte che legge la Bibbia, presso il Museo della Porziuncola di Santa Maria degli Angeli e la Galleria d’Arte Contemporanea della Pro Civitate Christiana, dove si potranno ammirare tra le altre opere di Chagall e Dalì.

Ad Agosto si suona e si balla e in Umbria ce n’è per tutti i generi! Per gli amanti della musica classica Music Fest Perugia 2013, dal 3 al 16 Agosto tra Perugia, Castiglione del Lago e Cortona. 
L’Opera la fa da protagonista fino al 17 Agosto al Preggio Music Festival 2013, uno tra i più rinomati ed apprezzati eventi culturali e musicali umbri, con un programma pregno di concerti e rappresentazioni teatrali che si svolgeranno tra la Chiesa di San Francesco e il giardino della Parrocchia al lato interno della Chiesa. 

Chi ama i cantautori italiano apprezzerà certamente il concerto gratuito di Max Gazzè il 10 Agosto a Perugia in Piazza IV Novembre per Farenight 2013 la kermesse organizzata dal comune di Perugia che prevede un mese e mezzo di spettacoli, dal 26 luglio al 15 settembre.

Jazz e funky protagoniste del Gubbio No Borders Festival 2013, un festival che si pone come proposta e riferimento culturale per capire, da punti di vista diversi e con linguaggi diversi, la realtà che ci circonda.

Nello splendido borgo di Bevagna fino al 28 Agosto si potranno infine ammirare maestri della chitarra classica che si esibiranno nell’ambito del Festival a loro dedicato e organizzato dal quartetto chitarristico “Alvarez Guitar Quartet”, Umbria Guitar Festival 2013.

Visto quanto c’è da fare? Per non parlare delle mille sagre sparse su tutto il territorio di questa bellissima regione, delle varie feste e pellegrinaggi religiosi e della possibilità di fare sport all’aria aperta, specie in Valnerina e nell’Alto Chiascio (Monte Cucco).

Max Gazzè, a great Italian songwriter will give people a free concert on August 10th in Perugia’s Piazza IV Novembre  for 2013 Farenight  event organized by the municipality of Perugia which provides a month and a half of shows, from July 26th to September 15th.

 

Jazz and funky will be protagonists of  2013 Gubbio No Borders Festival, a festival that stands as a cultural reference for the proposal and understand, from different points of view and with different languages, the reality that surrounds us.

To end our list we suggest you 2013 Umbria Guitar Festival, in the beautiful village of Bevagna until 28th August to see exhibitions of classical guitar masters.
