L&#8217;edificio si erge all&#8217;interno del <em>quartiere\u00a0Sant&#8217;Andrea<\/em>, nel quadrante sud-est della citt\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p>Particolare e suggestiva \u00e8 la <strong>forma asimmetrica della facciata:<\/strong>\u00a0troviamo infatti il portone situato nella parte sinistra, mentre il rosone \u00e8 collocato in alto sulla destra della facciata. Nel complesso, facciata \u00e8 semplice ma particolarmente elegante.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"\"><img class=\"\" title=\"\" alt=\"\" width=\"\" height=\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Purtroppo il bianco che pervade l&#8217;interno fu venne aggiunto nel corso del XVII secolo, andando a coprire e quindi ad alterare quasi del tutto la decorazione pittorica originale. Restituisce comunque all&#8217;edificio un&#8217;atmosfera di grande sacralit\u00e0 ed estrema intimit\u00e0.<\/p>\n<p>Nel corso dei secoli, diversi affreschi sono riusciti a tornare visibili grazie a delicati lavori di recupero. Sulla parete destra, si trova un affresco chiamato <em>&#8220;<strong>La Madonna del belvedere<\/strong>&#8220;<\/em>\u00a0risalente al 1413 e realizzato da <strong>Ottaviano Nelli<\/strong>. L&#8217;artista complet\u00f2 l&#8217;opera dopo aver raggiunto una certa maturit\u00e0 tecnica e costruttiva che gli permise di portare avanti imprese pittoriche impegnative e di raggiungere una definitiva individualit\u00e0 di stile, il che lo consacr\u00f2 come pi\u00f9 il grande esponente della scuola eugubina e tra i migliori artista di Umbria e Marche nella prima met\u00e0 del XV secolo.<\/p>\n<p>Sulla parete sinistra si trova un immagine di <em>S.Antonio Abbate<\/em> del Palmerucci (XIV sec.).
