Le origini della Rocca sono comunque molto pi\u00f9 antiche e risalgono all\u2019<strong>epoca dei Longobardi,<\/strong> che tra il V e il VI secolo l\u00ec costruirono la loro fortezza militare.<\/p>\n<p>I <em>Marchesi Toscani<\/em> che ne furono proprietari fino all\u2019XI secolo provvidero ad innalzare le imponenti mura quadrate, mentre la fortificazione del castello prosegu\u00ec con i <em>Perugini,<\/em> successivi proprietari. In seguito, la Rocca pass\u00f2 sotto diverse propriet\u00e0 con conseguenti modifiche, demolizioni e ricostruzioni. Inoltre durante la <em>Seconda Guerra Mondiale<\/em> ed i conseguenti bombardamenti che interessarono l\u2019area, la rocca fu purtroppo gravemente danneggiata e si resero necessari importanti lavori di restauro.<\/p>\n<p>La Rocca ha ufficialmente aperto al pubblico nel 2008 ed \u00e8 oggi <strong>una delle attrazioni pi\u00f9 belle e suggestive del Lago Trasimeno<\/strong>, oltre che una delle testimonianza storico-artistiche pi\u00f9 importanti.<\/p>\n<p>L&#8217;abitato di Passignano, ai piedi della Rocca, si svilupp\u00f2 successivamente, in particolare fra il Cinquecento e il Seicento. La Torre \u00e8 alta ben 32 metri e domina il paesaggio circostante.<\/p>\n<p>Potrai godere di un panorama mozzafiato sul Lago Trasimeno e le sue isole, sul borgo ed anche sulle stesse colline circostanti poich\u00e9 la torre offre una vista a 360 gradi. Vi troviamo imbarcazioni tipiche del <em>Lago di Piediluco<\/em> in Valnerina, della <em>Padule di Fuceccio<\/em> in Toscana, la pi\u00f9 estesa palude italiana, e il <em>Fassoi<\/em> (barca realizzata con piante lacustri) dello <em>Stagno di Cabras<\/em> in Sardegna.<\/p>\n<p>I reperti esposti sono accompagnati da pannelli tematici che raccontano <strong>la storia, l\u2019evoluzione e l\u2019importanza archeologica delle imbarcazioni<\/strong> presenti, inquadrandole nell\u2019ambito della cultura e della civilt\u00e0 della navigazione nelle acque interne.<\/p>\n<p>Tra le imbarcazioni del Lago Trasimeno, sono esposte: la<strong> barca tradizionale<\/strong>, in uso ancora fino alla met\u00e0 del \u2018900; la significativa <strong>imbarcazione monossile<\/strong>, vale a dire una barca scavata in un tronco di quercia e ritrovata proprio a Passignano a seguito dei drenaggi delle rive del lago, risalente al 1200.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\"http:\/\/www.bellaumbria.net\/it\/storia-e-archeologia\/rocca-passignano-trasimeno\/attachment\/lago-trasimeno_passignano-sul-trasimeno_museo-delle-barche_foto-di-travelblog-it\/\"\" rel=\"\"attachment\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"\"aligncenter\" title=\"\"Lago\" src=\"\"http:\/\/www.bellaumbria.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/1970\/01\/Lago-Trasimeno_Passignano-sul-Trasimeno_Museo-delle-barche_foto-di-Travelblog.it_.jpg\"\" alt=\"\"\"\" width=\"\"590\"\" height=\"\"324\"\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h1>INFORMAZIONI PRATICHE PER VISITARE LA ROCCA DI PASSIGNANO<\/h1>\n<p>La Rocca si raggiunge facilmente con una breve passeggiata, risalendo le vie del borgo di Passignano.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Il biglietto d\u2019ingresso<\/strong> ha un costo di \u20ac 2,50.
