Il\u00a0Teatro della Concordia <\/strong>di Monte Castello di Vibio \u00e8 noto per essere il teatro pi\u00f9 piccolo al<\/strong> mondo<\/strong>:\u00a0<\/strong>si tratta infatti del pi\u00f9 piccolo teatro all’italiana e di uno dei pi\u00f9 piccoli tra i teatri storici.<\/p>\n

Questo piccolo e prezioso luogo, che conta 99 posti totali suddivisi tra palco e platea, \u00e8 una precisa riproduzione in miniatura dei grandi teatri italiani ed europei in ogni aspetto: forma, struttura e acustica. Per queste sue caratteristiche, si distingue nettamente da altri normali teatri di piccole dimensioni.<\/p>\n

Il Teatro \u00e8 aperto al pubblico con un ricco cartellone di spettacoli e con visite guidate alla sua scoperta.<\/p>\n

Storia del Teatro della Concordia<\/h2>\n

Il Teatro della Concordia fu costruito a cavallo tra 1700 e 1800, durante l’occupazione napoleonica del territorio. La sua inaugurazione<\/strong> avvenne nel 1808 e\u00a0venne chiamato “della Concordia”<\/em> per sottolineare quei valori di uguaglianza e fratellanza ai quali i costruttori intendevano richiamarsi: l’ispirazione derivava appunto dal clima di \u201cconcordia tra i popoli\u201d<\/strong> che in quel periodo storico, dopo la rivoluzione francese, si stava respirando in Europa.<\/p>\n

Come accennato, la struttura del teatro ripropone in piccolo i cosiddetti teatri all’italiana di stile goldoniano<\/strong>, di cui \u00e8 l’unica importante testimonianza architettonica. Il teatro presenta infatti i 3 elementi che Goldoni riteneva imprescindibili per un teatro: i palchi in legno, una pianta a campana, delle plafone costruite secondo la tecnica del camorcanna.<\/p>\n

Oltre alla struttura, il Teatro si distingue anche per dovizia di particolari e pregevolezza artistica, che lo rendono una vera e propria opera esclusiva. Le sale interne e l’intero teatro vennero impreziosite dai materiali utilizzati<\/strong> e riccamente decorate dagli affreschi<\/strong> di Cesare Agretti e del giovanissimo figlio, il pittore Luigi Agretti.<\/p>\n

Dopo un periodo di declino, culminato con la chiusura per inagibilit\u00e0 nel 1951, il comune decise di espropriarlo e restaurarlo: il teatro sub\u00ec allora importanti lavori di ristrutturazione<\/strong>, che si protrassero per ben 7 anni e gli permisero di tornare al suo antico splendore e al completo funzionamento.<\/p>\n

Gli Spettacoli del Teatro<\/h3>\n

Il Teatro della Concordia oggi presenta un calendario di eventi e spettacoli ricco e variegato.<\/p>\n

Il Teatro ospita la stagione di prosa organizzata in collaborazione con il “Teatro Stabile dell’Umbria” e ogni anno organizza una stagione teatrale esclusivamente riservata ai pi\u00f9 giovani, chiamata “Teatro Ragazzi” e realizzata in collaborazione con il teatro stabile d’innovazione “Fontemaggiore”.<\/p>\n

Inoltre, molte attivit\u00e0 riguardano la sfera del cinema. Al Teatro Concordia \u00e8 presenta una programmazione cinematografia puntuale, arricchita da rassegne tematiche, cineforum, incontri con autori.<\/p>\n

Le visite al Teatro<\/h3>\n

Il Teatro della concordia organizza delle visite guidate alla scoperta della sua storia e delle sue bellezze. Il Teatro \u00e8 aperto alle visite nei seguenti giorni e orari:<\/p>\n

Sabato, domenica e festivi<\/strong>
\nDa aprile a ottobre: ore 10,00 – 12,30 e 16,00 – 18,30
\nDa novembre a marzo: ore 15,00 – 17,30<\/p>\n

Nei mesi di Luglio e Agosto<\/strong>, il Teatro \u00e8 aperto anche dal luned\u00ec al venerd\u00ec nei seguenti orari:

\nAgosto ore 10,00 – 12,30 e 16,00 – 18,30<\/p>\n

Per eventuali aperture straordinarie<\/strong>, in particolare nei mesi di Gennaio, Febbraio e Marzo, \u00e8 possibile rivolgersi all’ufficio Accoglienza Turistica situato proprio dietro al Teatro.<\/p>\n

The Theatre of Concordia<\/strong>\u00a0in Monte Castello di Vibio is known as the\u00a0smallest theatre of the world<\/strong>:\u00a0it is, in fact, the smallest Italian style theatre and one of the smallest historical theatres.<\/p>\n

This little and precious place, that offers 99 seats between parterre and daises, is a perfect miniature reproduction of the great Italian and European theatres. It proposes their form, structure and acustic. Because of these characteristics, it is different from the other ordinary theatres of little size.<\/p>\n

Theatre is open to guests and has a various schedule of shows and guided tours.<\/p>\n

History of the Theatre<\/h2>\n

The Theatre of Concordia was built at the end of 1700, when the territory was under the Napoleonic occupation. It was inaugurated in 1808<\/strong> and they called it “of Concordia (harmony)”<\/em> to underline the values of equality and brotherhood: the inspiration camw from the atmosphere of “people harmony”<\/strong> spreaded after the French Revolution all around Europe.<\/p>\n

The structure of the theatre proposed again the italian theatres of Goldoni style<\/strong>, whose it is the only real architectural proof. The theatre has 3 elements considered fundamental ones by Goldoni: wood daises, a bell map, plafone<\/em> built by a\u00a0camorcanna technique.<\/em><\/p>\n

In addiction, the Theatre has many precious and artistic details. The interior rooms and all the ambiances was enriched by materials of quality and by many frescoes,<\/strong> carefully painted by Cesare Agnetti and his young son, the painter Luigi Agretti.<\/p>\n

After a period of decline, culminated in a closure in 1951, the administration decided to restore it<\/strong>. They have been worked on it for 7 years to take back the theatre to its ancient wonderful aspect.<\/p>\n

Shows of the Theatre<\/h3>\n

The Theatre of Concordia has a rich programme of events and shows.<\/p>\n

The Theatre proposes the seasonal performances of “Teatro Stabile dell’Umbria” and every year it organizes some performances especially dedicated to the youngest ones, called “Teatro Ragazzi” and realized in collaboration with “Fontemaggiore” Innovation Theatre. Then there are many activities linked to the cinema: movies, cineforum, meetings.<\/p>\n

Visiting the Theatre<\/h3>\n

Theatre organizes guided tours to discover its history and its beauties. The Theatre is open in the following days and timetable:<\/p>\n

On Saturday, on Sunday and festive days<\/strong>

\nFrom November to March: 15,00 – 17,30<\/p>\n

In July and August,<\/strong>\u00a0the Theatre is open also from Mondays to Fridays:
