Il laboratorio, con sede a Perugia<\/strong> nei prestigiosi locali dell\u2019ex-chiesa di San Francesco delle Donne,<\/strong> fu fondato nel 1921 da Giuditta Brozzetti, rappresentante di spicco dell’imprenditoria femminile perugina, che ebbe l’idea di recuperare l’antica e gloriosa tradizione tessile umbra.<\/p>\n

Una storia di passione e successi<\/strong> lunga 90 anni che si \u00e8 tramandata di madre in figlia quella del laboratorio Brozzetti, dove ancora oggi si realizzano con gli stessi telai manuali stoffe e tessuti tipici della tradizione tessile del Centro Italia. Le origini dei tessuti umbri hanno infatti radici antichissime<\/strong>. Gi\u00e0 noti ed apprezzati sin dal Medioevo, venivano commercializzati a Perugia (potente comune dell\u2019epoca) e per questo chiamati \u201cpannili alla perugina\u201d. A testimonianza della loro grande diffusione, \u00e8 possibile trovarli raffigurati negli affreschi di Giotto, del Sodoma, del Ghirlandaio, del Lorenzetti, fino a Leonardo da Vinci.<\/p>\n

Il Museo Laboratorio Brozzetti<\/h2>\n

Su telai lignei del settecento e ottocento vengono tuttora realizzati manualmente damaschi e tessuti artistici per l\u2019arredamento della casa. Le creazioni del Museo-Laboratorio Giuditta Brozzetti si sono sempre distinte per la fedelt\u00e0 dei disegni ai motivi decorativi della gloriosa tradizione tessile medioevale e rinascimentale umbra.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Negli ultimi anni le creazioni tradizionali sono state affiancata da una linea eclettica, dove le contaminazioni stilistiche e gli abbinamenti cromatici inediti permettono di realizzare pezzi esclusivi e personalizzati, nei quali vengono intrecciati lino, cotone, seta, cashmire, laminato oro ed argento spesso utilizzando varie tecniche anche nello stesso pezzo.<\/p>\n

Inserito nel Sistema Museale della Regione Umbria dal 2004, il Museo Laboratorio offre una visita tra Antichi telai del 1700 e 1800,<\/strong> manovrati da mani esperte, permettono di rivivere l\u2019atmosfera di un antico laboratorio tessile, con i suoi suoni e odori che rendono ancora pi\u00f9 suggestiva l\u2019antica struttura risalente ai primi insediamenti in citt\u00e0 dell\u2019ordine francescano.<\/p>\n

Il Museo Laboratorio Brozzetti \u00e8 aperto<\/strong> al pubblico tutti giorni dal luned\u00ec al venerd\u00ec con ingresso libero, nei seguenti orari: 08:30 – 12:30 e 15:00 – 18:00. Il Museo-Laboratorio Brozzetti organizza dei corsi di Tessitura e Ricamo<\/strong> sia per principianti sia per esperti. I corsi possono essere organizzati per gruppi di massimo 4 persone o per singoli partecipanti e si tengono in italiano oppure in inglese.<\/p>\n

Ai principianti, senza alcuna esperienza nel settore tessile, saranno insegnate le tecniche di base<\/strong> della tessitura a mano. The classes of Hand Weaving and Embroidery at Brozzetti Atelier<\/h2>\n

The Museum and Workshop Brozzetti organizes some classes of Hand Weaving and Embroidery<\/strong> for beginners and experts. The classes are hold in group of maximum 4 people or also one participant, in Italian or English language.<\/p>\n

The beginners, without any experience, will learn the basic techniques<\/strong> of hand weaving. For whom have these basics, they will propose to learn new disegns and particular decorations<\/strong> inspider by the Umbrian tradition.<\/p>\n
