Nel tempo trascorso, non abbiamo mai smesso di lavorare, tenendoci pronti, ogni giorno, ad affrontare i cambiamenti e le sorti imprevedibili legate all\u2019emergenza COVID. Non potremo mettere in scena il programma gi\u00e0 annunciato a marzo, ma le nuove date e gli spettacoli che presenteremo potranno garantire la sicurezza di tutti, oltre che, naturalmente, la qualit\u00e0 artistica e l\u2019eccellenza che contraddistinguono la manifestazione.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Il programma, articolato nei\u00a0<strong>due week-end<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>dal 20 al 23 agosto 2020, e dal 27 al 30 agosto 2020<\/strong>, \u00e8 comunque denso e ricco di appuntamenti imperdibili: <strong>otto diversi spettacoli<\/strong> che uniscono <strong>teatro, musica e moda<\/strong>, e coinvolgono nomi di prestigio e nuove promesse del panorama artistico italiano.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-77666\" title=\"Spoleto, Festival dei 2 Mondi\" src=\"http:\/\/www.bellaumbria.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/06\/Spoleto-Festival-dei-2-Mondi.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"590\" height=\"324\" \/><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Si comincia <strong>gioved\u00ec 20 agosto alle 20.30<\/strong> con l&#8217;<strong>Orfeo<\/strong> di <strong>Claudio Monteverdi<\/strong>, in una nuova produzione firmata da <strong>Pier Luigi Pizzi<\/strong>, che ne cura regia, scene e costumi. Un cast di <strong>giovani e talentuosi cantanti e ballerini<\/strong> interpreter\u00e0 una storia senza tempo, che a distanza di secoli continua a mantenere il suo fascino grazie ai suoi temi universali. Sar\u00e0 il <strong>Duomo di Spoleto<\/strong> a fare da cornice alla rappresentazione, che si svolger\u00e0 nella <strong>piazza<\/strong> davanti alla chiesa.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Venerd\u00ec 21 agosto alle 20.30, al Teatro Romano<\/strong>, si prosegue con <strong>I Messaggeri<\/strong>, <strong>spettacolo-concerto<\/strong>\u00a0della regista <strong>Emma Dante<\/strong>, su musiche dei <strong>Fratelli Mancuso<\/strong>. In un parallelo di enorme attualit\u00e0, la regista accosta i messaggeri delle <strong>opere di Sofocle ed Euripide<\/strong>, che giungono in scena a descrivere per filo e per segno al pubblico gli accadimenti pi\u00f9 cruenti, ai bollettini di questi ultimi mesi che ci hanno accompagnato raccontandoci delle nuove vittime.<\/p>\n<p>Di nuovo in<strong><strong>\u00a0Piazza Duomo<\/strong>\u00a0e di nuovo alle\u00a0<strong>20.30<\/strong>, sabato 22 agosto<\/strong>\u00a0sar\u00e0 possibile assistere a uno spettacolo che vede protagonista<strong> Isabella Ferrari<\/strong>. Tre monodrammi per<strong> attrice, coro femminile e orchestra<\/strong>, ispirati ad altrettante figure di donne mitiche: <strong>Arianna, Fedra, Didone<\/strong>. <strong>Il filo conduttore \u00e8 l&#8217;Amore<\/strong>, espresso dalle protagoniste in struggenti e nostalgiche <strong>lettere immaginarie<\/strong> rivolte all&#8217;amato ormai lontano. Le loro storie vengono cos\u00ec raccontate non pi\u00f9 dalla prospettiva dell&#8217;eroe, ma da quella dell&#8217;eroina abbandonata.<\/p>\n<p>Chiude il primo week-end la giovane pianista <strong>Beatrice Rana<\/strong>, vincitrice nel 2016 del Premio Abbiati come miglior solista, con il suo <strong>concerto<\/strong> di<strong> domenica 23 agosto alle 20.30 al Teatro Romano<\/strong>. Eseguir\u00e0 una selezione di pezzi di <strong>Chopin, Alb\u00e9niz e Ravel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Il secondo week-end si apre <strong>gioved\u00ec 27, alle 20.30, al Teatro Romano<\/strong>, con un ricordo dedicato a una delle pi\u00f9 grandi artiste del ventesimo secolo: <strong>Maria Callas, Lettere e memorie<\/strong>, che vede la protagonista interpretata da <strong>Monica Bellucci<\/strong>. I testi e la regia sono di <strong>Tom Volf<\/strong>, gi\u00e0 regista del documentario\u00a0<em>Maria by Callas.\u00a0<\/em>Attraverso <strong>scritti autobiografici e materiali d&#8217;archivio<\/strong>, Monica Bellucci ripercorre la vita della grande cantante, indossando<strong> un abito realmente appartenuto a lei<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Venerd\u00ec 28 agosto<\/strong> sar\u00e0 la volta di<strong> Le creature di Prometeo\/Le creature di Capucci<\/strong>, <strong>concerto in forma scenica<\/strong> che si terr\u00e0 <strong>alle 20.30 in Piazza Duomo<\/strong>. L&#8217;unica opera del grande <strong>Ludwig van Beethoven<\/strong> nata per il <strong>balletto<\/strong> incontra la moda dello stilista <strong>Roberto Capucci<\/strong>, che propone <strong>15 costumi<\/strong> di grande impatto visivo. Parteciper\u00e0 l&#8217;<strong>orchestra del Teatro Carlo Felice di Genova<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Ci sar\u00e0 anche <strong>Luca Zingaretti<\/strong> a Spoleto,<strong> sabato 29 agosto alle<\/strong> <strong>20.30<\/strong>: nello spettacolo <strong>La Sirena<\/strong>, che si svolge al<strong>\u00a0Teatro Romano<\/strong><strong>,\u00a0<\/strong>l&#8217;attore presta la propria voce a un testo tratto dal racconto\u00a0<em>Lighea\u00a0<\/em>di <strong>Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa.<\/strong> Ambientato nella Torino del 1938, vede il confronto tra due uomini, entrambi siciliani. A cast of <strong>young and talented singers and dancers<\/strong> will perform a timeless tale with\u00a0universal themes,\u00a0still retaining its charm even after centuries. The show will take place in the scenery of the <strong>Spoleto Cathedral<\/strong>, in the church square (<strong>Piazza Duomo<\/strong>).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, August 21<\/strong>, at the <strong>Teatro Romano,\u00a0<\/strong>we go on with <strong>I Messaggeri<\/strong>, concert-show directed by <strong>Emma Dante<\/strong>, with music by the <strong>Mancuso Brothers.<\/strong> In a very topical work, Dante traces a parallel between the messengers in <strong>Sofocle&#8217;s and Euripide&#8217;s plays<\/strong>, coming on stage to describe in details the most gruesome happenings, and the daily bullettins of these last months that recounted the new victims.<\/p>\n<p>In <strong>Piazza Duomo, Saturday, August 22<\/strong>, a show starring <strong>Isabella Ferrari<\/strong>: three monodramas for <strong>Actress, Female Choir and Orchestra<\/strong>, inspired by three mytical women: <strong>Arianna, Fedra and Didone<\/strong>. <strong>Love is the common theme<\/strong>, and the three protagonists express it in imaginary,\u00a0yearning letters to their loved ones.\u00a0Their stories are thus told no longer from the hero&#8217;s perspective, but from the abandoned heroine&#8217;s one.<\/p>\n<p>The young pianist<strong> Beatrice Rana<\/strong>, winnrer of the 2016 Abbiati Prize for best soloist, closes the first weekend with her <strong>concert<\/strong> <strong>on Sunday, August 23, at the Teatro Romano<\/strong>. She will perform a selection of pieces by <strong>Chopin, Alb\u00e9niz and Ravel<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The second weekend opens on <strong>Thursday, August 27, at the Teatro Romano,<\/strong> with a memoir dedicated to one of the greatest artists of the twentieth century: <strong>Maria Callas, Lettere e Memorie<\/strong>, with <strong>Monica Bellucci\u00a0<\/strong>playing\u00a0the protagonist.\u00a0Texts and direction are by Tom Volf, also director of the documentary <em>Maria by Callas<\/em>. Through <strong>autobiographical writings and archival materials<\/strong>, Monica Bellucci retraces the great singer&#8217;s life, wearing a dress that really belonged to her.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Friday, August 28<\/strong>, the concert in scenic form <strong>Le creature di Prometeo\/ Le creature di Capucci<\/strong>\u00a0will be held in <strong>Piazza Duomo<\/strong>. The only <strong>ballet<\/strong> by the great <strong>Ludwig van Beethoven<\/strong> meets the fashion of stylist<strong> Roberto Capucci<\/strong>, who designed <strong>15 costumes<\/strong> of great visual impact. With the <strong>Orchestra of the Carlo Felice Theater in Genoa.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Luca Zingaretti<\/strong> will also be in Spoleto, <strong>Saturday, August 29<\/strong>: in the show<strong> La Sirena<\/strong>, taking place at <strong>Teatro Romano<\/strong>, the actor lends his voice to a text from <em>Lighea<\/em> by <strong>Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa<\/strong>. Set in Turin in 1938, it&#8217;s a confrontation between two men, both Sicilians. In the show, the myth centered on the terrifying monster is transformed into a &#8220;human&#8221; drama: that of a being that has to do with himself, or rather with the infinity of himself reflected in the mirrors of the labyrinth.<\/p>\n<p>Likewise, another important production is the dramatic oratorio in 11 scenes and 1 prologue of <strong>Jeanne d&#8217;Arc au Bucher<\/strong> by Arthur Honegger and Paul Claudel, at the end of the Festival in the traditional Piazza del Duomo.
