Between the Arena Santa Giuliana in Perugia and Piazza San Francesco of Umbertide (PG) returns, for its 22nd edition, Rockin'Umbria, Italian and international alternative-rock festival born in 1984.
Rockin'Umbria 2012 will see well-known artists and young protagonists of the indie scene, concerts with fee and free concerts.
Among the "stars" we can include:
- Afterhours. The band led by Manuel Agnelli will present her latest work, the first totally independent, "Padania". July 23rd at 21:15 Arena Santa Giuliana in Perugia, € 23,00;
- Patti Smith. The American singer and poet returns to Italy, a country wich she loves, with the new album "Banga". July 24th, 2012 at 21:15 Arena Santa Giuliana in Perugia, € 34,50;
- Marky Ramone's Blitzkrieg. Marky Ramone will bring on stage with his new band the Ramones punk-rock history (drummer from 1978 to 1983 and from 1987 to 1996, ed.) July 26th, 2012 at 21:00 Piazza San Francesco in Umbertide (PG), € 10,00;
- Nina Zilli. The interpreter of “L'amore è femmina” ("Love is female") will perform in a concert that combines soul music, Italian pop and black music. July 28th, 2012 21:30 Piazza San Francesco in Umbertide (PG), € 17,00.
