From 5th to 8th September 2013, in the small medieval village of Collescipoli, near Terni, will take place the first edition of 2013 Jazzit Fest .
4 days full of music, 104 concerts, 450 musicians involved but also art and photography exhibitions, stands, workshops, conferences, seminars and film screenings. 2013 Jazzit Fest is organized by Vanni Editore srl, publisher of the magazines JAZZIT and Cultural Tourism and will be the biggest italian jazz event of all times, but also the first and only music festival in the world with an "open source" direction, spontaneously created from below and from the artistic community of reference.
For all jazz fans there will be the opportunity to buy CDs and books directly from the manufacturer, for the musicians will be able to gain the confidence of the industry and jazz for all operators in the sector will be an opportunity to get to know and meet.Inside the Festival, 2013 Jazzit Fest will organize a Meeting of the Italian Jazz: expo of the industry - record labels, festivals, jazz clubs, music schools, associations, promoters, agencies booking and management - which will also include lectures, presentation of CD and concert seasons and open meetings of the drafting of JAZZIT.
The small medieval town of Collescipoli will be entirely involved: the whole community will offer reception services, security, hospitality and public order, and thanks to the Pro Loco of Collescipoli the taverns will be opened to offer more dining options and tasting of typical products.
