Da 14 anni Gubbio abbina al suo Albero di Natale uno degli appuntamenti musicali natalizi più attesi nel panorama nazionale: il Concerto sotto l’Albero.
Negli anni questa manifestazione ha visto grandi artisti internazionali esibirsi, come ad esempio Giovanni Allevi e la Philharmonische Camerata Berlin nel 2007 o Sergei Nakariakov, “il Paganini della tromba”, accompagnato dagli Interpreti Veneziani e Orchestra d’Archi nel 2009.

La novità che balza agli occhi è la formula. Il Concerto sotto l’Albero 2012 non sarà in un unica serata e si evolverà in un mini-cartellone di 4 appuntamenti:

  • domenica 9 Dicembre 2012, ore 20:30, nella Chiesa di San Domenico a Gubbio l’incredibile tromba solista della 25enne norvegese Tine Thing Helseth, accompagnata dall’Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana, diretta dal maestro Giancarlo De Lorenzo, e dal Coro “I Piccoli Musici” di Casazza, Bergamo, diretti da Mario Mora;
  • martedì 18 Dicembre, ore 21:15, alla Chiesa di S. Pietro si esibirà il coro gospel Shannon Rives and the High Praise Gospel Singers, dal Missouri;
  • domenica 23 Dicembre, in collaborazione con l’Umbria Gospel Festival 2012, nella Chiesa di San Francesco a partire dalle 21:30, con il coinvolgimento dell’associazione “Elba”, risuoneranno i canti dello Spirit of New Orleans Gospel Choir;
  • sabato 29 Dicembre 2012, 21:15, “Le Musiche di Natale” dei Cantores Beati Ubaldi, diretti dal maestro Renzo Menichetti. Presso la Chiesa di San Domenico.
