Febbraio, come sempre, è tempo di maschere e di carri allegorici. Noi di Bella Umbria vi daremo qualche consiglio su dove passare il Carnevale 2012 in Umbria.


Carnevalandia 2012, la città del Carnevale -” Todi (PG), dal 4 al 19 Febbraio 2012

Partiamo con la nostra rassegna da Carnevalandia, la città del Carnevale, dal 4 al 19 Febbraio 2012 a Todi (PG): l’unico Carnevale Medioevale dell’Umbria. Tanti gli appuntamenti in cartellone: dalla coppa Carnevale di Calcio riservata ai Pulcini del 2001 e del 2002 alle sfilate dei Carri Allegorici (12a edizione), 5 e 12 Febbraio 2012 dalle ore 15:00 con 4 carri inediti, realizzati con l’antica tecnica della cartapesta; dal 4° Raduno Camperisti “Vittoria Assicurazioni” alle visite guidate della città di Jacopone; dai corsi di cucina con degustazione alle Taverne del Centro Storico che proporranno Menù di Carnevale con ricette medioevali; dagli spettacoli ed i mercati medioevali ai tornei di arcieri. E molto altro ancora.
Dal 16 al 19 Febbraio 2012 inizieranno le rappresentazioni medioevali. Ma il clou, ovviamente, sarà Domenica 19 Febbraio 2012 con il vero e proprio Carnevale Medioevale. A partire dalle ore 15:00 presso Piazza del Popolo scene medioevali del 1300 con oltre 400 figuranti in costume.
2 le novità di quest’edizione: il Palio dell’Aquila, gara equestre tra i Rioni dell’antica Tuder (Sabato 18 Febbraio ore 15:00); ed il Carnevale dei Folli con Corteggio dei Carri Allegorici Medioevali (Domenica 19 Febbraio 2012 a partire dalle ore 16:00). Durante la sfilata dei Carri Medioevali il pubblico potrà colpire le figure allegoriche con verdura predisposta dall’organizzazione.

Carnevale di Acquasparta 2012, il Carnevale dei Bambini -” Acquasparta (TR), 5 -” 12 -” 19 Febbraio 2012

Anche quest”anno torna il Carnevale dei Bambini di Acquasparta, uno dei carnevali più amati dell’Umbria. Nei tre giorni, 5, 12 e 19 Febbraio 2012, a partire dalle ore 14:30, sfilata di Carri Allegorici che lanceranno peluches, caramelle e palloncini. 3 saranno i carri, ispirati ad un cartone animato, ad un racconto per ragazzi ed una canzone: “Kung Fu Panda 2”; “I Tre Moschettieri”; “Il Ballo del Qua Qua”. E, sempre per i più piccoli, il trenino, il brucomela, la slitta, la diligenza e, novità di questa edizione, le tazze girevoli. In programma, inoltre, musica dal vivo in piazza con le esibizioni delle orchestre “Adriano show” (Domenica 5 Febbraio), “Luca Sebastiani” (il 12 Febbraio) e “Fabrizio e i simpatici italiani” (il 19 Febbraio). Esibizioni che saranno arricchite da quella della banda di Acquasparta e Montecchio, oltre che dagli spettacoli delle majorettes.
Inoltre, durante la manifestazione verrà riaperta nel centro storico la taverna “La cantina” (Sabato 4 e Domenica 5, e da Giovedì 9 a Domenica 19 Febbraio 2012), che offrirà i piatti tipici della tradizione culinaria acquaspartana: dai picchiarelli al sugo alla polenta, fino alla pasta del carnevale, i fegatelli e la pizza farcita.

Carnevale dei Ragazzi di Sant’Eraclio 2012, 51esima edizione -” S. Eraclio di Foligno (PG), 5 -” 12 -” 19 Febbraio 2012

Giunge alla sua 51esima edizione (nacque nel 1960 quando il parroco Luciano Raponi ed altri carnevalari formarono un apposito comitato per il Carnevale) il Carnevale dei Ragazzi di Sant’Eraclio di Foligno (PG). Come per il Carnevale di Acquasparta, i Corsi Mascherati in cui sfilano i Carri Allegorici e le maschere si terranno durante le domeniche del 5, 12 e 19 Febbraio 2012, a partire dalle ore 15:00. L’ingresso ai Corsi Mascherati è di € 5,00, ragazzi ed adulti in maschera avranno l’ingresso gratuito. Ma il Carnevale di S. Eraclio non si riduce soltanto alle sfilate: da Giovedì 2 a Martedì 21 Febbraio 2012 sarà aperta “L’Osteria del Carnevale” (si consiglia la prenotazione); Sabato 4 Febbraio 2012 alle ore 18:00 insediamento del Re Carnevale presso il Castello dei Trinci, dove il Re darà ufficialmente inizio alle manifestazioni.

Anche il Carnevale di Gubbio, giunto alla 52esima edizione, si chiama Carnevale dei Ragazzi. In questo appuntamento, ora di inizio le 14:00 di Domenica 19 Febbraio 2012, potrete trovare gruppi mascherati, Carri Allegorici, musica, Trenino delle Maschere e, dalle 17:30, il XIV° Trofeo Mascherissima -” Premio orafo Miozzi Stefano.

Many appointments on the bill: from the Carnival Cup Soccer for kids to the parades of floats (12th edition) on 5th and February 12th, 2012 at 15:00 with 4 unpublished float works, realized with the ancient papier-mâché technique; from the 4th “Vittoria Assicurazioni” Meeting Camper to the guided tours of the city of Jacopone; from cooking classes with tasting to the Old Town Taverns, which will offer Carnival’s menu with medieval recipes; from medieval markets and performances to the archery tournaments. And much more.
From February 16th to 19th, 2012 will begin medieval representations. But the highlight, of course, will be on Sunday, February 19th, 2012 with the Medieval Carnival. Starting from 15:00 in Piazza del Popolo medieval scenes of 1300 with over 400 people in costume.
What’s new in this edition: the Palio dell’Aquila, horse race between the districts of the ancient Tuder (Saturday, February 18th at 15:00); and the Carnival of Fools with Medieval Procession of floats (Sunday, February 19th, 2012 to starting at 16:00). During the parade the public will be able to hit the medieval allegorical figures with vegetables prepared by the organization.

2012 Carnival of Acquasparta, il Carnevale dei Bambini (the Children’s Carnival) – Acquasparta (TR), February 5th – 12th – 19th, 2012

Even back this year the Children’s Carnival of Acquasparta, one of the most popular carnivals in Umbria. In the three days, February 5th, 12th and 19th, 2012, starting at 14:30, parade of floats that will throw stuffed animals, candy and balloons. 3 will be the floats, inspired by a cartoon, children’s stories and a song: “Kung Fu Panda 2”; “The Three Musketeers”; “Il Ballo del Qua Qua”. And, even for children, the mini-train, the caterpillar, slide, diligence and, new this year, the cups swivel. The program also will offer live music performances and majorettes.
In addition, during the event will be opened in the old town the “La cantina” tavern (Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th, and from Thursday 9th to Sunday, February 19th, 2012), which offer the typical dishes of the Acquasparta’s culinary tradition: from picchiarelli al sugo to the polenta, until the pasta del carnevale, the fegatelli and the pizza farcita.

Fee entrance € 5.00, children and adults in costume will have free admission. But the Carnival of S. Eraclio is not limited only to the parades: from February 2nd to 21st, 2012 will open “The Tavern of the Carnival” (reservation recommended); Saturday, February 4th, 2012 at 18:00 inauguration of King Carnival at the Castle of Trinci, where the King will officially give the start at the events.
