Terni in Volo 2nd edition - 2011

Saturday 23 and Sunday, July 24, 2011 comes the second edition of Terni in Volo, the event at the Aviosuperficie (Airfield) Alvaro Leonardi in Terni, which is concerned with celebrating the Flight as a sport, leisure and entertainment. But not only: will go up on stage Sud Sound System and Bandabardò.
Rich and dense rhe program of the two days, with free entry, which will begin at 9 and ends at 24.

At 10:00 of Saturday 23 you can experience the charm of the free fall thanks to an exciting parachute exhibition.

At 11:00 you can watch the spectacle of aerobatics flight.

The public can experience the thrill of boarding a plane and jump with a parachute, in tadem with an instructor. In addition, visitors can carry out, for a fee and by reservation, tourist helicopter flights, or go on a hot-air balloon to admire the panorama of the valley.

From 16:00 to 17:00 there will be an exhibition of model aircraft, with faithful reproductions of some of the most popular planes in modern history.

For both days, from 18 to 22, there will be a musical contest of the best bands of the territory, including Laccati e Sfonati, Outback, Fever, Disco Party.

The day of Saturday will end, starting at 22:00, with the concert of the Sud Sound System. The cost of the ticket for the concert is € 12.00, purchasable on www.greenticket.it or in the shops Astrolabio Art and New Symphony in Terni.

On the day of Sunday 24, from 09:00, will be the turn of the Air Raid. It will be a sort of treasure hunt, a race, where twenty pilots of aircraft plying the skies of Umbria in search of points scored, with the purpose of photographing them. Who has done the best (and correct) pictures will be declared the winner with a prize.

Will close the event, the 24th and always starting from the22, the concert of the Bandabardò. Even for this concert, the price will be € 12.00. By the way, you can do a "mini" subscription to attend both concerts, priced at € 20.00

Throughout the event will be present, on display, means of the armed forces, of the Civil Protection and of the Firefighters, you can also have lunch, take a drink or dinner in the Aviosuperficie. During the dinner will be organized an entertainment show with drama or music schools. Not to mention that there will be points with the possibility of food tastings of local products and crafts of the region Umbria.

Many initiatives for the kids: for the two days will be organized a space dedicated entirely to them with inflatables, magic shows and juggling.

Finally, there will also be an exhibition of art, cinema, video, images, paintings and photography where young emerging people of Terni will exhibit their works and make installations.
