2011 Scarpinata a Monte Rufeno (Trek to Monte Rufeno), 27th edition

From 23rd to September 25th, 2011 comes back La Scarpinata (The Trek) to Mount Rufeno. The national demonstration of running, trekking and hiking (not without some good food, editor's note) will unfold in the woods of Umbria, Lazio and Tuscany, as the Natural Reserve of Monte Rufeno is located where the three regions bordering. And 3 are also the towns affected, also dubbed by the walkers as the "Benedict Triangle of Italy": Allerona, in the province of Terni, Trevinano and Acquapendente, in the province of Viterbo. Friday, September 23rd, after the meeting operations and membership, starting from Acquapendente at 16:30 for 10 km of the "La Via Francigena nella Città del Santo Sepolcro".

Saturday, September 24th leaving from Allerona at 10 am for the "Scarpinata nei boschi della selva di Meana", a ring of 11 km.

Sunday 25th the real deal, "La Scarpinata", start at 9.30 am and it is a free walk in the paths of the Nature Reserve of Monte Rufeno. There are two routes available, a 10-km and one by 17.
