2012 Nero Norcia, 49th National Market Exhibition of Black Truffle of Norcia and Typical Products

Back in the last two weekends of 2012 February, 17-19 and 24-26, Nero Norcia, National Market Exhibition of Black Truffle of Norcia and Typical Products.
In these 6 days, beyond the market, you will find round tables, conferences, presentations, meetings and tastings, tours and events such as exhibitions, music, performances and demonstrations of crafts, not only dedicated to King Truffle, but also the protection, preservation and promotion of all the gastronomic jewels of Valnerina.

2012 Nero Norciamarried the buffalo mozzarella and durum wheat semolina pasta, thanks to the twinning with Campania region.

The 1st Weekend kicks off Friday, February 17th, 2012 at 10:00 am from the Palazzo Comunale - Sala del Consiglio Maggiore with a panel discussion on the theme: Quality, authenticity and safety food. At 16:30 the unveiling of 2012 Nero Norcia. The first three days will end Sunday, February 19th, 2012 starting at 16:00 in Piazza Sergio Forti with a Cooking Show with Marco Bottega, cook of the Italian transmission of RAI 1 "La Prova del Cuoco" ("Ready Steady Cook").

The 2nd Weekend starts Friday, February 24th, 2012 at 10:00 am at the Palazzo Comunale - Sala del Consiglio Maggiore with a meeting of the Camera di Commercio of Perugia. Followed by panel discussion on "Conservation of truffle products and processing of products in our tradition", by the Camera di Commercio. The last day, Sunday, February 26th will be opened by the "inevitable" Race of truffle dogs. At 09:00. The award ceremony will take place in Piazza St. Benedetto. The Kermesse will end starting at 16.00 Sergio Forti Square with another star of "La Prova del Cuoco", Mauro Improta.
