The streets already teeming with colorful lights and garlands, and soon we will see also the magic trees.

Here comes the most important holiday of the year, the feast more expected from children and from all of us, matter of tradition, family warmth, festive atmosphere.
Christmas is an opportunity to meet around a table , to stop and enjoy moments of intimacy with loved ones or maybe an opportunity to organize a small living room somewhere, to discover or rediscover the city, interesting places ...
The Umbria at Christmas is truly impressive, in every corner of an atmosphere of peace and serenity.
From 8 December until 6 January 2011 the Umbria region shows the representation of the Nativity with Christmas cribs and nativity scenes, with the International Exhibition of Artistic Cribs in Città di Castello and the Umbria lives Christmas through various events, fairs, events of all kinds.

Cribs of Italy

In the quaint town of Massa Martana there is the ninth edition of the Ncribs of Italy, National Exhibition of the crib, from December 24 to January 6, 2011.
The exhibition is an event of national significance involving annual exhibitors from all regions of Italy, without exception.
In the previous edition was attended by 120 exhibitors, who have presented over 150 works, more beautiful than the other, and two cribs from the Guinness Book of Records:
The Crib of Ice, the largest crib of Italy, The Crib of Paper, the largest crib of Italy.
New in this edition instead the Crib of Perugino that is characterized by beautiful papier-mâché statues, life-size, inspired to the 'Adoration of the Magi "of the divine pictore. A special crib that goes beyond the classic notes and goes through a wonderful artistic and innovative.
Slogan of Cribs iof Italy is that the event is much more than an exhibition...It is the best movie to watch at Christmas...!

International Exhibition of Crib Art in Città di Castello

XI edition of the exhibition devoted to Nativity scenes from around the world in Città di Castello, with the Crib Art in exhibition.
This year's host nation is Africa with 35 cribs from the Ethnographic Museum in Verona and private collections from central Italy.
