Ivano Fossati in concert with Decadancing

The Italian singer-songwriter, composer and multi-instrumentalist 60 year old Ivano Fossati has already announced plans to retire from the music scene after the last and final 'Decadancing' album and tour.
So, what better time for his Umbrian fans (and not) to put an homage to an interpreter that has been going strong for 40 years, if not the concert that will be held January 16th, 2012, beginning at 21:00, at the Morlacchi theatre?

Ivano Fossati will present its new 10 tracks, anticipated by the single 'Decadenza' ('Decadence'), playing piano, electric and slide guitars, acoustic guitar, flute, harmonica. It will be accompanied by: Pietro Cantarelli (piano, Fender Rhodes, Wurlitzer, Hammond organ, electric and acoustic guitars, accordion and vocals); Claudio Fossati (drums); Riccardo Galardini (acoustic guitars, electric, nylon, dobro, vihuela); Max Gelsi and Guido Guglielminetti (electric bass); Fabrizio Barale (slide and electric guitars, E-bow); Gian Guido Ponzini (viola da gamba); Mercedes Martini and Gaetano Civello (vocals) and Ensemble Edodea string orchestra with the first violate Edoardo De Angelis in ‘La terra del vento' ('The land of wind').
