One goes through the Tiberina valley along the statal road 205 and from Amelia one arrives at Lugnano in Teverina, delighful middle age village, mainly known for its romanic cathedral.
From Perugia to Corciano
Starting out from Perugia, follow the State Road "Magionese", and from below, you'll reach the ancient town of Corciano.
From Marsciano to Todi
Getting to the Tuderte region from north, the first town you arrives at is Marsciano, in a land with lot of castles and curches. Keeping the way towards south, you will get in Fratta Todina, one of the smallest communs of Umbria, with the castle walls and churches still well preserved.
The Path of Francesco
Nell'anno 1213 Orlando Cattani, feudatario della città di Chiusi, donò la montagna di La Verna, situata tra Toscana, Umbria e Marche, a Francesco d'Assisi affinchè vi si stabilisse con i suoi frati.
Francesco e i suoi frati soggiornarono a La Verna per molto tempo finchè il frate ricevette le stimmate e lasciò definitivamente il monte custodito da allora solo dai suoi compagni.
Nella grande montagna di formazione calcarea si erge il Santuario di La Verna appunto, a quota 1128 mt.

From Gubbio to Valfabbrica
Leaving from Gubbio the route to follow in order to see the full region has a first stop in Scheggia, which is situated where the flaminia way cross the Sentino, with its typical bridge. Following the faminia way, direction south, you get to the village of Costacciaro.

From Gubbio, on the road passing the Bottaccione valley, you get to the pass of Madonna della Cima and going down you get to Scheggia.
From Orvieto to Allerona
From Orvieto along the state road 448, which banks along the sunshine highway, in a southerly direction one reaches the village of Baschi and from here, crossing the boundery into the Region of Lazio, one may also visit the village of Bagnoreggio.
It can be considered as the way preferred by people looking for quiet environments.
The starting point is Amelia and the regional road for Todi is taken. Continuing on this road Montecastrilli is reached, among the colourful olive threes and vines.
From Assisi to Cannara
Leaving Assisi, descend in direction of the plain and after having passed through the quarter of Santa Maria degli Angeli you'll arrive at Bastia Umbra.
From Terni to Piediluco
Having taken the State Road "Valnerina" from Terni, after 13 Km. one takes the Provincial Road following directions for Montefranco.
