IMMaginario 2.0: L'Utopia (IMMaginary 2.0: The Utopia) - 2011

Perugia is preparing to host from November 14th to 24th, 2011, the second edition (in 2009 there was the "zero") of IMMaginario Festival (IMMaginary), called IMMaginario 2.0. This new edition will have as its main theme the utopia, telling the dialogue between analog fathers and digital sons and the digital mutation of languages ​​and ways of thinking. Locations, ideas and maps to imagine never-never Italy (still), a veritable laboratory for imagine the future Italy reinterpreting the present.

The "non-festival" will be displace in 11 locations of Perugia (Morlacchi Theatre, Pavone Theatre, Zenith Cinema, Sala delle Colonne, Ex-heliographic, Centro Camerale Alessi, Contrappunto, Hotel Brufani, the Municipal Theatre Sant'Angelo, Norman Club, Giò Jazz Hotel) through 63 events, 5 previews, 5 shows, 3 workshops and 12 concerts.

IMMaginario 2.0 developed through 7 themes: Cinema, Television, New Media, Radio, Fashion, Comics and Videogames.
For the Cinema section are expected, for example, Philippe Garrel and his son Louis, respectively, director and star in the film "Une été brulant" with Monica Bellucci (November 20th at 20:30, Pavone Theatre). A meeting with Franco Battiato and Enrico Ghezzi (November 19th, 2011 18:00 Pavone Theatre). And, twenty years after its release, an event on the "Il Portaborse", which will be attended, as well as writers, even Daniele Lucchetti and Gian Antonio Stella (Friday, November 18th 20:30 Zenith Cinema). It will also be present Marco Müller (November 19th at 16:00, Pavone Theatre).

For the TV section the main character will be Renzo Arbore, which will be paid tribute by revisiting his career on television consists of five events, from November 22nd , 2011 at the Teatro Morlacchi from 15:00, with the valuable contribution made by some employees of historical programs as "Quelli della Notte" and "Indietro Tutta". As well as meetings with key players, authors and characters of today television as Le Iene (November 24th, 2011 20:30 Morlacchi Theatre), Marco Giusti, Gino e Michele, I Soliti Idioti, the stars of Flop Tv and workshops for thinking of the tv of tomorrow and to create new formats. IMMaginario 2.0, which recounts the transition from analog to digital culture, investigating the regression of "all-purpose" TV and entertainment.

The protagonist of the Comics section in this edition will be Lorenzo Mattotti, with the presentation of the digital version for iPad "Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde", exhibition of original drawings and show the same volume for sounds and images The return of a certain Mr. Hide". IMMaginario 2.0 exhibition will also showcase original Pop Surrealists and Street Art artists (event organized in collaboration with the World Pop Art Gallery in Rome and the XXL Magazine of "La Republica"). And through a meeting with Vauro and Vincino (Pavone Theatre on November 20th, 18:30) you will also speak of "Il Male", one of the most important Italian satirical magazines that has marked the history of information and customs in our country, back on sale after 28 years.

Will be organized meetings dedicated to the new language of Fashion, such as Fashion Film, with the participation of designers from Lemuria Style, Marvie lab, Résho, Dioniso, Ozona, Mario Salvucci.. This is also one way to give space to "Made in Umbria" creativity. It also be present journalists such as Peter Gomez, Antonio Padellaro and Luca Telese.
