Todi International Balloon Grand Prix - 2011

The 2011 edition of the Todi International Balloon Grand Prix, from 10 to 24 July, expected at the start, from the gathering of Ponte Naia, about 40 balloons, from all over the globe.

Every morning the hot-air balloons will take the flight from 06:30 and fly over Todi, and then go or in direction north north, toward Perugia, or south, toward Amelia.

In addition to the classic races, there will be a "Caccia alla Volpe" ("fox hunt"), with all the balloons to chase a colorful ball left quarter of an hour before the participants. Plus, you can experience the thrill of flying in a balloon, at a special prize and upon reservation.

The July 15 there will be an impressive sight, just after sunset the hot-air balloons, locate in the spaces provided in the center and along the walls of the City of Jacopone, will light on and really make the atmosphere of the city magical.
