Festival of Nations 2010- 43th edition

The Festival of Nations was born in Cittā di Castello in the late 60s, in 1968 to be precise, stands out as one of the most important festivals in Italy aimed at enhancing the social integration through art.
Since the '70 Festival has also introduced advanced music courses that allow young musicians from across Europe to study with internationally renowned masters.
Each year the festival shows and enhances performance through the incredible music scene of one nation and is also a primary tool for tourism promotion activities of the Umbria region, favoring the event locations as the most attractive places and details of the territory.
In the historical archives of this great event there are many musical and territorial reality involved: Spain, Poland, Czech Republic, Austria, Israel to name a few ...
This year the event will be the host nation Russia.
The program draws directly to the manifold activities of the Court of the Tsars between '700 and '800 and '900 popular music production with the execution of the works of artists such as Paisiello, Cimarosa, Stravinsky, Tchaikovsky, Scriabin, Rachmaninoff, Borodin.
