2011 Festa della Vendemmia (Feast of the Grape Harvest) in Penna in Teverina (TR) - 33rd edition

The 1st and October 2nd, 2011 in Penna in Teverina (TR) returns the usual Festa della Vendemmia (Grape Harvest Feast), arrived at the 33rd edition. The old town will be filled with barrels, vats, biconcave and straw baskets.

You can taste grapes and wines of local producers, without forgetting the must: as well as be able to drink, will be present the typical local desserts to its base as sweet buns with currants, bread and "tisichelle", traditional aniseed donuts.

Besides grapes, a fair of goods, local crafts producers inside and outside the historical center and a food stand, where you can eat traditional dishes and wholesome. "Guest" in the kitchen this year will be the meat of buffalo.

Saturday, October 1st:
17:00 Esibizione di gladiatori e legionari (Exhibition of gladiators and legionnaires);
20:00 Dinner in the historical centre (reservation may be required);
21:30 Sbronzi di Riace in concert.

Sunday, October 2nd:
From the morning will be possible to taste honey, jams, cheeses and other local products.
10:00 Performances along the streets of the country music band "Michelangelo Bonafede" of Penna in Teverina;
12:00 Opening Stand Gastronomico (First turn at 12:00 – Second turn at 13:30);
15:00 Beginning musical entertainment both inside and outside the historical center.
Sunday 2nd, from 15 pm, there will be a free shuttle service from the sports field (where the parking will be set up) to square Piazza della Libertà.
