2011 fast - International Festival of Contemporary Arts (Terni Festival) - 6th edition (formerly known as es.terni Festival)

From 15th to September 25th, 2011, at the CAOS (Arts Centre Opificio Siri) arrves the sixth edition of the International Festival of Contemporary Arts (Terni Festival), which this year abandoned the name es.terni to be fast ().
The name change has a symbolic value, which implies the ability to reinvent itself and the approach to the future: no longer a festival and a community of artists, young talents, small inventors, researchers and travelers "outsiders" in Terni, but share in the city ​​life; a "fast" city between "slow" fortresses and castles.

Will be 11 days of performances, installations, sensory experiences, urban interventions, meetings and moments of celebration, theater, dance, visual arts.

Six, including the main program, the projects at 2011 fast: Miniatures; Intersection; shows of the winners of the prizes GenerazioneScenario and Anticorpi XL; Umbria Creativa, the space dedicated to Umbrian emerging artistic formations and wich will be the heart of the entire event. The festival is truly international, with over 170 artists and 52 different formations of 18 countries, and will propose 28 national premieres. The Nera river, right in front of CAOS, will become a multilingual citadel.

Many national and international performance art projects will be present, not forgetting the collaborations with Prague Quadrennial and the France Danse project. Among the guests Emma Dante (Palermo), Graheme Miller (London), Dace Dzerina (Riga), Kretakör (Budapest), Alia Sellami (Tunisia), Carme Torrent (Barcelona), Danya Hammoud (Beirut), inQuanto Theatre (Florence), Alice Gosti (Seattle / Perugia), Dancing Days Agency (Foligno), progetto città Giardino Quartiere Creativo. And many more.

The Festival will make available for purchase at the CAOS, Via Campofregoso 98, Terni, the fast-CARD, card / subscription, cost 80€, that will give the right of entry to all the festival events, advance booking required.
