I Primi d'Italia (The First Courses of Italy)
I Primi d'Italia (The First Courses of Italy) is the first and only National Festival of First Courses. Pasta, rice, soups, gnocchi, polenta are the protagonists of the more appetizing culinary marathon of Italy. An event that dresses up the entire historical center of Foligno, promoting all-round culture of the first dish on the table. I Primi d'Italia takes place the last week of September and includes continuous food tastings, cooking lessons, great chefs demonstrations, quality food production, but also spectacle and entertainment. A universe of continuous tastings and food culture, where all roads lead to the taste!
The Taste Villages is the centerpiece of the event and provides a pedestrian path between suggestive location of the old town for the occasion numbered steps and turned into a very pleasant culinary way of the cross. I Primi d'Italia organizes Training Courses, offering everyone the opportunity to attend daily courses of haute cuisine with certificate of participation, to specialize in First courses with top chefs (For courses you must be booked. Cooking Show, real cooking shows during which great chefs will perform in culinary performance and also "The First at the Palace", inviting opportunities to learn the perfect combination of art, culture and power.
