The Museum of Ceramics in Deruta is one of the most significant historical and artistic interest of the district, the museum, located in the fourteenth century former Convent of San Francesco in Deruta's Old Town, is split over three floors andcovers a 'area of 1700 square meters for a total of 14 exhibition halls.

Inside the museum are kept individual pieces of pottery ceramics of Deruta made ​​over the years by local craftsmen.

  • Ground Floor - houses various specimens of glazed earthenware, whose production was once widespread throughout the territory of Umbria:
    • Masters Hall of the twentieth century;
    • Teaching Hall;
    • Hall of fragments of earthenware and archaic;
    • Hall of Deposits.
  • First floor - the floor is home to the church of San Francesco, which was found in 1902, consisting of about two hundred tiles and considered one of the most important works produced by artists from Deruta:
