The Giardini del Frontone of Borgo XX Giugno are preparing to host, from May 24th to 26th, the 2013 Perugia Flower Show, 6th "Spring" edition (since last year there is also a Winter Edition in November, ed) of the Market Exhibition of Rare and Unusual Plants of Perugia, among the best known nationally and internationally as regards the nursery gardening.
The slogan of the event, paraphrasing a Chinese proverb, is: "Vuoi essere felice tutta la vita? Diventa giardiniere!" ("You want to be happy all your life? Become a gardener!"). Footlights on all those species that bloom in spring, for example between the flowers you will find more than 100 varieties of hydrangeas, over 500 varieties of roses, orchids, iris and shrubs. But the enthusiast or simply curious about floriculture, nursery and garden therapy will be delighted, thanks to the presence of 75 qualified exhibitors with rare, ancient, modern and recovered collections. And plants from all over the globe, from alpine to tropical species.
As always, at the 2013 Perugia Flower Show there will be room for the courses, both basic and in-depth, taught by experts in the field, on gardening, urban ecology and new techniques of pruning and reproduction. For the children fun, creativity and learning through the educational workshops & games reserved for them. Not to mention side events such as conferences, exhibitions and contests.

Friday, May 24th, 2013 from 11:30 to 20:00;
Saturday, May 25th & Sunday, May 26th, 2013 from 10:00 to 20:00.
