From October 12th to 14th, 2012 for the 25th time Pietralunga celebrate the two prized tubers of his land, the tuber magnatum pico (the trifola, the white truffle) and the white potato, thanks to the Mostra Mercato del Tartufo e della Patata Bianca (White Truffle and Potato Market-Exhibition).

The event will begin at 17:00 on Friday, October 12th with the inauguration at Piazza Fiorucci, home, starting from 17:15, of the stands of the Market-Exhibition. Saturday, October 13th and Sunday, October 14th2012 the stalls open at 10:00.

At Piazzetta dell'Orologio "Spizzico di... Vino", place where you can have aperitifs and Angle of the craft beers. On 12th from 17:30, October 13th and 14th from 12:00.

Among the tastings, at the Sala ex Convento di Sant'Agostino you will find the Pinot Noir (October 12th at 21:00) and the White Potato of Pietralunga (October 13th and 14th, 2012 at 16:00). In the restaurants and taverns of the historic centre members of the event you can enjoy a "Truffle Menu". Always on Sunday 14th, but from 17:00 at Piazzetta dell'Orologio, vertical tasting “PROVA D’AUTORE” Cantina Roccafiore.

At the 2012 Mostra Mercato del Tartufo e della Patata Bianca local arts and crafts will be on display thanks to “Pietralunga Espone”. And then live music, folklore and dancing in the streets. Not to mention two "young" events, but already a must, both on Sunday 14th, 2012: at 7:00 amParco della Resistenza, truffle dogs race organized by the Associazione Tartufai Alta Valle del Tevere; at 9:00 and from Piazza Fiorucci start the second edition of "The Tartufissima", foot race organized by the Pro-loco and in collaboration with the Marathon Club Citta di Castello.
