Seven choreographers for the new Spoleto Ballet: natural born on stage.
The contemporary dance company Ballet of Spoleto has more than 18 years of activity, Italian and international, having been founded in 1992 by Fiorenza D'Alessandro.
From this year, the President of the company was entrusted to the composer Marco Schiavoni, the Art Direction to performer and choreographer Caterina Genta.
And on October 8th, 2011 they will present on national preview, from the 21:00 at the complesso monumentale di San Nicolò Theater (PG), the 2011 new production SETTE coreografi per il Balletto di Spoleto (SEVEN choreographers for the Spoleto Ballet). The work is inserted in the bill of the Menotti's Year.
The title is not casual, as well as the representation: seven choreographers, one dancer, seven ways of being on stage. In fact, Caterina Genta will dance through seven scenes new and different in genre, viewpoint, style and technique proposed by as many Italian choreographers:Luca Bruni, Max Campagnani, Luciano Cannito, Renato Greco, Walter Matteini, Dino Verga and the same Caterina Genta. The original live music and videography will be curated by Marco Schiavoni, costumes by Monica Guadagnini.
Tickets will cost € 13, reduced € 8, affordable on Ticketitalia.com and on the sales point of Terni, Perugia-Collestrada, Castiglione del Lago, Città di Castello, Foligno, Spoleto and Rome. Or directly on the day of the show at the San Nicolò Theater, 19:30.
