Fossato di Vico

Fossato di Vico is a small but pleasant village. It can be ideally divided in two parts: the first part is modern and lays along the statal way, while the old part, is on the top of the hill. The latter is called Fossato Alto, and is a typical example of middle age architecture, with an evocative view. Here it is possible to visit the chapel "Cappella della Piaggiola" where remarkable frescoes of Ottaviano Nelli are well preserved.
