| The village of Colle del Capitano, after which the enterprise has been named, is located inside the Apennines axis of Coscerno-Aspra, in an environmental context mostly made of mixed woods of oaks, maples and hornbeams and is famous for the discovery of the "Biga" in 1901 (considered a product of the Etruscan art), and now preserved in the Metropolitan Museum of New York. The typical rural structure is a Biological Enterprise of 70 hectares surrounded by the ruins of the antique castles of Brufa, Trebua, Castellina, with a production of emmer, forage and a breeding of bovines of the selected chianina race. |
